Aha thanks Rob. I have had a couple of lessons this year but I think the main difference for me has been losing some of the tension in my swing. It's added some distance and improved my consistency somewhat. That's what I'm putting it down to anyway. Maybe it is just divine intervention 😂

You guys need to come to North Carolina. We have some amazing courses in the Southern Pines area outside of Pinehurst Resort, which, of course, is the gold standard.
Great viewing again , fens zoomed putts which I do regularly made me feel a whole lot better , I mean in the nicest way of course , don't have yere chipping skills around green , very impressed with those shots you guys play , I feel like a bird trying to fly with 1 wing when I line up a PW shot off the green so I've just abandoned it and push my 7 iron for a roller , cheers lads love the vids 👍

I did laugh over the last week at a 'pro' golfer travelling UK North to South and playing with locals along the way. All of a sudden when crowds and normal Joe's are there to call out any fakery the standard of golf comes distinctly average and these balls that go deep in the rough, that are miraculously found in nice lies, are actually being realistically lost.
Really enjoy your videos and don’t want to be “that guy “ but…….you may be missing out on some of the delights of match play. On several occasions I noticed you carried on and putted out. In match play that is “playing out of turn” as order of play is determined by who is furthest from the hole. It’s a good rule because what look like tap ins when you walk onto the green get a lot longer if your opponent sinks their put from further away. Also, on the long par 4 ( where you second went into the water) how come you were able to drop on the green side of the pond?
For a friendly round where your mate has forgot his putter, out of turn is fine, it doesnt ruin some finer points of matchplay. The drop still should have been on the otherside of ghe water though. You can drop in line with the point of entry and the flag but no nearer the hole. understood though that you must use quite a bit of time filming and need to make those smart decisions to keep yourself ahead.
Because the ball landed across the hazard and rolled back into the red penalty area, Luke had the option of taking lateral relief, allowing for a drop within an area of two-club lengths from the point at which the ball crossed the red line excluding the areas which are closer to the hole. (Back-on-the-line and stroke-and-distance relief are also options here, but obviously poor options, in this scenario.) It's true that Luke dropped in an area closer to the hole. In match play, as this was, it results in a forfeit of the hole, which he lost anyway. In stroke play it results in a two stroke penalty, in addition to the one stroke drop penalty. But it's not like every other 10+ handicapper in the world doesn't do the same thing. I'm here for the Fents memes, not to discourage the Fents memes.

Just one observation when you take a drop from hazard or the water you can't drop it closer to the hole you need to take it back and drop on a line where you think it entered the hazard.😂
If these guys are off 12, then they need to have a word with whoever gave them their handicaps. I'd put them at no less than 18 and that's on a good day. They are making that course look like its over 7000 yards!!

Hole 5 is a brutal length! Why isn't it a Par 5, especially given there's only one other par 5 on the 9?
I'm not sure tbh, it's probably a little too short to be a par 5. It is a par 5 if you play from the white tees however
Because it's down hill the hole way so plays shorter and it's also stroke index one.
