I just tried out a new 'realistic' sound mod for my 730 S V8 in ETS2, drove a delivery from Murcia to Albacete, and was wondering a bit whether its engine/exhaust is really bubbling like this... had a bit the feeling being rather in a racing car on the racing circuit instead of driving a truck 😮, especially since the original SCS ETS2 engine is far far away from producing such sounds. And unfortunately I had no chance so far to sit in such a marvelous truck myself in real life, as yet 😭 Okay... yes... apparently, it is 😎👍😆 Thanks for sharing 👌 I'm still just a bit curious how it sounds from within the cabin 🧐 Anyway, I think, SCS would be advised well to overhaul the engine sounds soon ;)

How did you do it? I drive a r580 next gen timbertruck and have thought to get open pipes on that to,i had it on my old truck r560 euro5 but that was more easy to built. Awesome sound btw😎
@@blandsom So I asked if he has an open pipe on his Scania and he said “yes, just a valve in between”. I suppose it was a fairly simple modification. Hope this helps a bit 😊
