There are three equations for fitting a quadratic curve. One which I have solved in this video. Other two are y = a + bx² And y = ax + bx² You can fit a curve for y = a + bx² by same method as shown in this video. But the normal equations for your case will be: sigma y = na + b (sigma x²) and sigma x²y = a (sigma x²) + b (sigma x^4) And then you will to solve the equation for two unknowns.
