I have also went to the Indianapolis art institute and have been giving it alot of thought to further enhance my skills. Thank you so much. Not really on the topic of the book but I just want to say that I am insanely pumped for your channel remake or whatever because your long animation videos are my favorite
Can you do a video on line shading if you already haven't? (Like hatching, cross hatching and so on.) I've always struggled with shading and I'm looking into techniques that I can finally be comfortable using.
I have the beginners guide. The heard part is the head and them body because I am having trouble having a good size of the human proportion. Aka the basic shapes on evening their sides and stuff, etc.
I got the first Figure It Out, and Ill say he does well on spacing and proportions, but the structure is unrealistic. The men are too muscled, the women are too thin, and the joints look like they should break bone. He does well on cartooning, but i don't think realism or manga is his thing.

Hart is my favourite when I started drawing. I would recommend him too.

Jack Hamm's Drawing the Head and Human Body is a must you should have on your collection, it covers the basics :)
