Those wire saws get a bad rep because they tend to get stuck and snap. They work a lot better if you take a branch and make a bow saw with it. Also, when cutting a branch, cut from the top instead of the bottom. If you cut from the top as you're cutting the weight of the branch will pull down giving more space for the wire saw and reduce the chances of it snagging. I've never used a bellow either. At least not for fire. I have a much smaller one in my kit. I keep a couple quart sized zip lock bags in my kit for emergency water collection. It can be difficult to drink from a bag. The bellow makes a pretty decent makeshift straw.
The strobe feature on the flash light is to disorient an attacker. You're better off building a kit from scratch with quality equipment that you already know how to use.
I get it, but if you are being attacked, I am not the attacker would wait while you cycle through the modes to get to the strobe feature. Is it a handy little light? Probably. Is it an effective self-defense tool? Probably not. Better off with some pepper spray, I think.
I don't think I disagree. I was watching this last night, and IF I were to re-do this video, I think I would recommend NOT buying it. The only positive side is that there is probably more than $25 worth of stuff in there. The other thing I would do is recommend replacing the knife. It is not a particularly great knife. Actually, Gordon's $9.99 folding knife is much better, I think.
The strobe actually messes with a possible enemy's attention.

That is a great idea. I will try it.
How much was it?

@@CowboySurvival it's definitely not a practical design and another gimmick to give you "peace of mind" in an emergency.
Did you try covering the holes in the top of the knife whistle?
I did not. I will give that a try.
*promo sm* 💃
It's just a gimmick. Hard pass.
