- Fringe width is the distance between two consecutive bright spots (maximas, where constructive interference take place) or two consecutive dark spots (minimas, where destructive interference take place). Let's derive an expression for the linear and angular fringe width.
Khan Academy is a nonprofit organization with the mission of providing a free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere. We offer quizzes, questions, instructional videos, and articles on a range of academic subjects, including math, biology, chemistry, physics, history, economics, finance, grammar, preschool learning, and more. have been waiting, to hear the voice of great explainer , non other than Mahesh Shenoy!😁
Wow, his name is mahesh shenoy?
I literally fell in love with his voice.
RESPECT++
MAHESH SIR GOAT
5:38 this is what i wanted... Thank you for making short videos they are really helpful... Moreover, neither the books and nor the videos explain how we get theta here. Thank you so much.
Amazing dude, this is the best video I found online explaining this problem
Mahesh sir, you are simply amazing. I love to hear your classes 😍
thank you so so so so much you know what i was having the same confusion that fringe width is width of the bright and and dark bands and this thing was irritating me from a very long time but thanks to you
Just mind blowing sir thank you so much 😊
Sir, your teaching is really incredible... I love Khan Academy......
Please upload video on Molecular Orbital theory. It would be useful if you would post in Khan Academy India(Eng) CHemistry class 11 playlist.
By the way thanks a million...
What a great explanation...thank you so much..
Excellent display of physics
5:00 there is a problem
You have initially taken theta from the centre of the two slits
But in the second image it is taken form is the slit 2
And it's not the same thing, trignometery won't work in first case
Or it is an assumption because slits are very close
Of course your doubt is correct. But the expression is true in this image coz trignometrically it makes sense and what he did was right but the angle here means the angle between the light from bottom source to the screen and the
distance (which is the distance from the slit to the screen)
But normally the angle theta would be the angle between the distance from the centre of two slits and the centre of the screen to a point in the screen.
Idky but on this channel i can only understand this man!
i understand every single word of your lecture
thanks for amazing explanation
sir have you made only 2 videos on ydse ?
because some of the things you are saying you have taught earlier is not under the wave optics series
yeah bro... i too couldnt find
Please upload for Single slit experiment Sir
Where is the link to the previous video? You should have added it in description
Please make Young's single slit experiment explanation video tooo
It's just amazing
Can anyone help me with the ydse. Sir is referencing the previous video. But where is the video in this playlist?
Fringe width formula for single slit b yhe hga kya?
nice teaching 👌👌
Great sir
Thanks maaan, unfortunately somehow I've found ur video through Google, this is what i was trying to figure out in last 2 days
I love your voice sir 💜
Where is the previous vedio of this ???
Concept clear
6:17 where are the previous video?
i am unable to get them
Same here
Neither books explainthis bueatiful
how small angle can be considered as arc it should be a straight line
Mesh you are my hero
sir could you make new viedios on shm and waves
Thx sir
Where is the previous vdo??
Can anyone sent me the video or share me link where he make ∆lamda =m lamda
Where can I find the previous videos of this
Type : Khan Academy India English In RUclips....
Great explanation
uhyhhh
why havent you attempted class 11 science videos
Adorable excellent unmatched awesome just wow
9:20That's JEE question which he casually solved 😂
It's not कंजैकैटिव
It's कंजंक्टिव ❤❤
Bro where is the previous video about this... Plz share link

First
Can some on tell me how to change language of any RUclips video
You can't
you can turn on captions, click on the video then tap 'cc'.
but you can't change language

Want to really thank you in the best way possible.
Thanks a lot,
Literature no one has been able to explain it in such an easy way.
Is there a way i can subscribe to you only, and listen to all physics lectures recorded by you specifically.
Im ready to pay for your talent. 🫡
