Sadly...this is a very bad product for me...i dont recommend it for dusky skin tones like mine..it leaves a terrible white cast spots...not a fan...sometimes i feel because of its too much silicony nature...it just gets pushed to a side when trying to get rid of the white cast it leaves Great that it worked for u😊

Exactly I also have the same issue bcz I also have dusky Skin tone and I have been looking for products which won't leave a white cast .. That's the reason I was asking samapti if she has any suggestions like any other gel sunscreen but. Im upset 😞 that there are not much options of good. Suncreen
@@kavitathakur6141 you can try Dermafique sunscreen ( read my comment). It's gel based and absorbs in 10 minutes. Will feel greasy during application but absorbs later and doesn't feel sticky. I have dry skin so it suits me.
Finding good moisturizer for super oily acne prone sensitive skin is hard for me but finding sunscreen with SPF 50 which doesn't make my face greasy and doesn't clog my pores is even more harder for me 😭
Hi @Samapti Banerjee, I totally agree with the fact that green beauty caused hyped about silcones are bad and all but actually the only problem with silicones is that they are EDs (endocrine disruptors) just like SLS, PEGs,phthalates and so on. and most commonly silicones are used in there cosmetics because they are good emollient and helps in retaining moisture and yes dermatologist usually prescribe them. My derma did too and it worked me. Personally, I don't really hate them because they did helped me a lot to calm down my skin irritation and all when nothing was working( but the idea of using them as in leave on products big no no). And let alone cosmetics, breast implants are made up of silicones! So what the big deal with them?? Actually the only and the major concern with silicones (mainly siloxanes/cyclomethicones(eg demethicone) as these are commonly used in beauty products and are researched upon and they don't mention silicone type they used in skincare ) is that the endocrine disruptors and cause hormonal imbalance in the body on the long run (but in most ppl it's not a big concern ,because our body know how to fix itself, but that doesn't mean exposing it to more of these Eds can lead to something )and if u suffer from pcos or others hormonal imbalance disorders these further aggravates/makes you more susceptible to these Hormonal problem them. That's why Canada and Europe wants to ban it. Please review Greenberry Organics spray sunscreen lotion spf 40+.. It doesn't have paraben and sls. It has been good to me so far but I m so used to thick sunscreens that i dont know if this liquid type of formula protects skin equally well! However, in general its been pretty good!
Anyone trying to buy from amazone, please don't, buy it from local drug store. My product arrived today which i ordered from amazone and quantity is too less, the package says 50g, but i doubt whether it's even 30g or not altough the package was sealed, and it feels really greasy and oily, so please choose wisely. Heyy.....Can u do a safe routine for ppl in early 20s with acne.. And acne scars... I think using advanced products is not really necessary since the skin can still replenish itself....
This sunscreen made my skin feel so tight....my skin is slightly on the dryer side and it made my skin even more dry... I would never recommend this to dry skin people...
ive used so many tubes of this! its so thick and feels so heavy on my skin and is so fucking difficult to wash it off! and it makes my skin so oily and greasy. and when i sweat it piles up as a white cast, but didn’t break me out. so i finally switched to innisfree blueberry bounce sunscreen and its so light weight with so many goodness in it too!( but have 1 essential oil in it). ( neutrogena dry touch is a fine one but it gives me water works and sometimes break me out)
About it being difficult to wash off is sssssoooooooooo trueeee, like I applied this sunscreen about three days ago and I could feel it on my skin even yesterday. I used the double cleanse method, I massaged my skin using oil for like 5 minutes or so and then I used cotton pads to wipe the oil off and then used my second cleanser (cleanse me) for another 5 minutes(just to make sure the sunscreen comes off) and it still didn't!!!!!! Usually ppl cleanse using the 60 sec rule so they cleanse for one minute, so total two minutes for double cleansing. I cleansed for more than 10 minutes and it still didn't come offf like what 😭😭😭 luckily my skin didn't break out but I can't keep pushing my luck tbh

@@saramak8756 I use baby dove body wash and they claim to be ph neutral on the packaging and not ph 5.5 . Ph neutral means they have a ph of 7. And honestly it is better than those expensive body washes who have ph of above 9.

Di! There's a product called the blessing tree sunscreen lotion. They have oxybezone & avobenzone but they say it's for sensitive skin, water resistant, non comedogenic etc. + the sunscreen has been working for me.... But should I continue with it? Also it doesn't leave a white cast
The only reason I avoid silicone is because they prevent any subsequent products applied to the skin from getting absorbed and also I prefer a dewy glowy look but any product containing silicone makes my face look matt.

I have been using etude house surprise mild airy finish spf50+/ pa+++.. It is by far the best sunscreen I have used. Though it is high on zinc oxide, it doesn't leave a terrible white cast... With some blending, the little white cast it leaves goes away.... But sunscreens are a very tedious step and I don't enjoy this step at all unlike other steps in skincare.... I have heard that purito centalla sunscreen feels like a moisturiser so want to give that a try once beautybarn resumes shipping.... Do u know any other website we can order Korean skincare from other than beautybarn? Moisturizing is very important even for acne prone skin, you need to moisturize with water based Moisturiser first , simple hydrating moisturizer is the best, its working for my oily acne prone sensitive skin. And then you can use sunscreen..

Can fragrances in cosmetic products affect the skin on arms and legs as badly as the skin on face? I bought a sunscreen recommended by a dermatologist and it has sunscreen as the last ingredient (Suncote). Sadly to say, but i don't find your recommendation of etude house soon jung emulsion and aveeno daily moisturizer to be a good option for combination skin, since both felt very much sweaty and didn't like it at all. Moreover, squalane doesn't work as a serum at all for hair. Didn't find it useful though!
Does soon jung provide enough hydration? I think it would be good for dry skin type. Actually my skin type is combination sensitive and I don't like matte feel.. so thought to buy it but at the same time sweaty face is a big no no. So I am a little bit confused...
It feels like ponds cream on combination skin type. Moreover, samapti's recommendation is only for dry type i think so because i bought 3 of them and I Don't like any of them. Rest is your choice.

Aveeno can feel heavy during summer and can you tell me how did you use this? And squalane works fine for my hair and I’m again sorry to hear it didn’t work out for you. Sunscreens are so essential but overlooked in skincare. Please do a review on 'reequil sunscreen' too, blue one! It's quite raved about😁😁

For oily skin there is different varient(oil free spf 40) , it was recommended by my dermatologist

My product arrived today which i ordered from amazone and quantity is too less, the package says 50g, but i doubt whether it's even 30g or not altough the package was sealed, and it feels really greasy and oily, so please choose wisely. I've used this sunscreen. Its some what heavy on the skin but it seems to be working for me. But need to double cleanse to remove it completely.
This sunscreen made my skin feel so tight....my skin is slightly on the dryer side and it made my skin even more dry... I would never recommend this to dry skin people...
It's too sticky and greasy for oily skin...and surprisingly it gave me skin infection..it's not even for oily skin types.

ive used so many tubes of this! its so thick and feels so heavy on my skin and is so fucking difficult to wash it off! and it makes my skin so oily and greasy. and when i sweat it piles up as a white cast, but didn’t break me out. so i finally switched to innisfree blueberry bounce sunscreen and its so light weight with so many goodness in it too!( but have 1 essential oil in it). ( neutrogena dry touch is a fine one but it gives me water works and sometimes break me out)
About it being difficult to wash off is sssssoooooooooo trueeee, like I applied this sunscreen about three days ago and I could feel it on my skin even yesterday. I used the double cleanse method, I massaged my skin using oil for like 5 minutes or so and then I used cotton pads to wipe the oil off and then used my second cleanser (cleanse me) for another 5 minutes(just to make sure the sunscreen comes off) and it still didn't!!!!!! Usually ppl cleanse using the 60 sec rule so they cleanse for one minute, so total two minutes for double cleansing. I cleansed for more than 10 minutes and it still didn't come offf like what 😭😭😭 luckily my skin didn't break out but I can't keep pushing my luck tbh

@@saramak8756 I use baby dove body wash and they claim to be ph neutral on the packaging and not ph 5.5 . Ph neutral means they have a ph of 7. And honestly it is better than those expensive body washes who have ph of above 9.

Re'eqil oxybenzone free sunscreen is a chemical one but good ingredients I think, except the fragrance 😖 I asked them for a fragrance free version in their live message. Di! There's a product called the blessing tree sunscreen lotion. They have oxybezone & avobenzone but they say it's for sensitive skin, water resistant, non comedogenic etc. + the sunscreen has been working for me.... But should I continue with it? Also it doesn't leave a white cast

The only reason I avoid silicone is because they prevent any subsequent products applied to the skin from getting absorbed and also I prefer a dewy glowy look but any product containing silicone makes my face look matt.

I have been using etude house surprise mild airy finish spf50+/ pa+++.. It is by far the best sunscreen I have used. Though it is high on zinc oxide, it doesn't leave a terrible white cast... With some blending, the little white cast it leaves goes away.... But sunscreens are a very tedious step and I don't enjoy this step at all unlike other steps in skincare....
I have heard that purito centalla sunscreen feels like a moisturiser so want to give that a try once beautybarn resumes shipping.... Do u know any other website we can order Korean skincare from other than beautybarn?

Moisturizing is very important even for acne prone skin, you need to moisturize with water based Moisturiser first , simple hydrating moisturizer is the best, its working for my oily acne prone sensitive skin. And then you can use sunscreen..

Can fragrances in cosmetic products affect the skin on arms and legs as badly as the skin on face? I bought a sunscreen recommended by a dermatologist and it has sunscreen as the last ingredient (Suncote). Sadly to say, but i don't find your recommendation of etude house soon jung emulsion and aveeno daily moisturizer to be a good option for combination skin, since both felt very much sweaty and didn't like it at all. Moreover, squalane doesn't work as a serum at all for hair. Didn't find it useful though!
Does soon jung provide enough hydration? I think it would be good for dry skin type. Actually my skin type is combination sensitive and I don't like matte feel.. so thought to buy it but at the same time sweaty face is a big no no. So I am a little bit confused...
It feels like ponds cream on combination skin type. Moreover, samapti's recommendation is only for dry type i think so because i bought 3 of them and I Don't like any of them. Rest is your choice.

Hey just wanted to say I have tried both of them , the bottle one is very oily but dry skin will like it ... The one in the tube is nice , it dosent pill and it has pa++++ .. they both don't leave white cast on me ...but I am quite fair so I am not sure abt darker skin tones .... But the bottle one makes my skin look darker
