Thank you for all the comments on this video. Let me explain a few things here.. An average sheep weighs roughly 200lb so there was absolutely no way of me trying to haul it through a paddock and over a barb wire fence and then try and get it into my car to try and find a vet in the nearest town about 30 minutes away from where I was on a Sunday without me causing it great trauma and distress. I had a phone but because of the isolated area I was in, had no signal. The sheep was not mine to take nor try to kill. I thought about whacking it with a rock but would probably only have caused it far more distress before it died. I did not film it because it would have caused an outrage and a barrage of vile comments, just me stating that it was there and that it affected me has provided me with enough disgusting comments as it is. I rushed through the house because my mind was not set on being there as all I could think of was the sheep plus I had driven 4 hrs before I found this place so took the opportunity to film while I could. We have gun laws in Australia that prevent the carrying of guns and once again it was not mine to kill and was the responsibility of the farmer not me .As for sitting with it until it died would have meant nothing except maybe traumatising me even more and really is a bit unrealistic and idealistic patting a wild animal in the mud. I made another extensive video of the property if people choose to view it when I went back again a few months later because it has great historical significance . If you really want to see dead sheep, you'll see quite a few in that one.I've put the link in the description. Thanks for watching.
mkuebler5 No one should judge you as they weren't in the situation. Being an America & from rural WA state, I have experience in farm animals & still would had been panicked (and yes, if exploring abandoned place alone, would had a firearm). But as you say, it was not your animal to make any decisions for. The best you could had done was to notify anyone you seen in area. Stay safe and ignore haters comments.
No thank you. I’m an animal advocate, any mistreatment of any animal affects me deeply. I would have been on the phone to any wildlife rescue/agency to take her. Alive or passed away.
Can't you just call animal control when you got cell service again or do they not do it that way where you live? I'm only familiar with USA animal control. They would have gone right out to assess and/or rescue the sheep. Then they would have made sure that there was not more criminal neglect of other animals.
In a situation like this our instincts tell us to help the animal as fast as we can. You can only do what you feel is right staying within the guidelines of your laws. (If I see a dog in distress in a hot closed up car I’d call police after I broke the window and get the dog out. Even if I did go to jail I’d know that dog is safe first. But that’s me, others may do something else.) Doing nothing is wrong. Doing anything at all is the right thing to do no matter what that might be!
You should post the address so people can go there. Perhaps that poor sheep hasn't died and is lying there in pain with no help. Saw you only. Lot of help you did!
Your distress over the sheep shows what a wonderful soul you are. Thanks for caring, and I'm sorry you had to go through that. I know the feeling, it's not ever a good one, but it does validate you are a person with decency and compassion.
Wow, that's a tough one. Sadly, some animals are so fast, there's nothing you can do. I hit a squirrel once with my car. It ran right out in front of me and there was no time to stop. I went home and cried for several hours. I just kept thinking that it woke up to a bright sunny day and it didn't live past the morning, and it was all my fault. :'(
@@SuperNewKittie You didn't force the squirrel to run in front of your vehicle. One once ran under my car between the front and back tires. I went over it before I even knew it was there. It was only because I felt a thud that I looked in the rearview mirror and saw what it was. I also had a cat do the run in front of my car. I braked but it was going too fast for me to avoid it. I stopped and checked , but it had run into bushes and brambles that I couldn't penetrate. Some things are just unavoidable. The only good that can come from such an occurrence, is that it will be food for another creature.
I once was a sucker for old abandoned houses and shacks...….not any more. Found a leg bone complete with foot, nothing but what looked like very old bones. I reported it to the nearest police. I took them back, showed them, and didn't lie about how I was looking for old stuff. They were nice, and I left. No more old houses for me, no telling what you might find. Was I scared ??? YES I was ! !
With all these new urban exploration channels popping up like herpes blisters, it's only a matter of time until we see a news story of a "youtube star" who gets shot and killed after trespassing onto the wrong property. Give it time, it will happen, it is inevitable.
Damn! Now that's why I don't jog..most joggers are the ones that find the bodies..you don't run into that when sitting at home eating ice cream and over dosing on you tube! 🤣
I hope you are fully recovered from the cancer! It set me back a while too! It was a great video! Please take comfort in knowing that just your presence with the sheep helped her immensely..she felt safe with you near her..keep this level of love and humanity in you always!
That is such an interesting insight! I agree..I often think if I just up and left my house and someone else went through it..what conclusion would be made of my life? Have an awesome week love!
This is one of the best I've seen. Silence is golden in your presentation. Other people make stupid comments, stupid opinions and trying to be a TV host. Good work! keep it going.
Thank You for closing the door as you leave, I feel bad when doors/windows are left open in an abandoned house, the weather gets in and destroys everything. I would feel the same had I run across dying animals.
This is the old JJ Johnson house. It was built in 1920. JJ owned 3 drug stores in town, was wealthy but very eccentric. He could be seen in town carrying signs that read VOTE FOR HERBERT HOOVER, many years after Hoover died. Mrs Henrietta Johnson owned a casket company she inherited from her father, bur her employees were absconding with the profits. JJ accused Henrietta of having an affair with the local butcher Hans Kruger. Henrietta denied the accusation but towns people let JJ know that they had witnessed Hans and Henrietta leaving an upstairs apartment in town. In August 1939, Henrietta came home from one of her romps, and JJ shot her dead in the entry way of this very house that you see in the video. JJ then grabbed his rifle ran in to town and shot Hans the butcher in his store. JJ was captured 2 days later, he was sentenced that same year and died in prison in 1969. So now you know the rest of the story.
Smug Smugly Seems you always know the ends of stories but never seem to get them right!!! How do you know all these ends to stories???? This is not the first time I’ve read one of your stories. Just that- stories!!! Please stop commenting!!!!!
I don't blame you for not liking that place. Gave me a really bad feeling as you were going through it. You are one brave man! Thank you for posting it. Abandoned places interest me, even if they are not so nice to be around. I'm sorry you had to see that tragic site of the sheep and lamb, too. I don't know if I would have been able to handle that at all.
Don’t let the HATERS get to you. This is just part of country life in Australia. Some people have nothing better to do with there time. Can’t wait to see more of your films in the future because I haven’t found a lot of us Aussies doing this on RUclips.
Wow I'd love to remodel and bring this place back to life. it's got great bones. fabulous natural lighting. I'm sorry about what happened w the lamb and sheep..
I think this is an incredible old home that can be rehabilitated. I can 'see' Christmas stockings on the first room's fireplace mantle and can 'hear' children laughing and a man coming home from work saying, "I'm home!" This can still be an incredible home for someone who falls in love with it!
I can understand where you are coming from, man. When I married my husband, they owned a dairy farm, also some pigs and a horse. The way animals had to live was so sad compared to the way we treat our pets in the city. We had about 100 cows and various other animals. It's just different and it is sad, but, there is not always a solution that is better than a gun. Farmers do have feelings, evidently not the one left to care for these, but this man does care and is upset that he has to leave an animal suffer.
LeAnn Cottman that's why you call somebody else whose job it is to take care of it I would not expect him to take care of it himself! the way he could take care of it as make the phone calls to the right people even if it means the sheriff comes out and puts it out of its misery there's no reason to let something rot if it slams laying there dead and it doesn't look well then there's a problem. any living thing that seems suffering deserves at least a phone call to someone else who can help it
You did a good job on the video and I appreciate your filming and your compassion I have observed in some of you other videos, I know your heart aches when you come across such things and I trust you would know if you could have done things differently. We aren't there and should not be so judgemental. Some people just don't understand life or geographic areas. I appreciate your videos very much, thank you for sharing.
why didnt you help the sheep, no vet to take it to? Or animal control to call to help. You didnt have vehicle and or knew anyone with one? I couldn't walk away from an animal in distress.....
Being an animal lover and having a soft heart, I am sorry you had to experience the sheep and it's dead lamb. I find it unsettling to even see a dead animal in the road hit by a car, be it a possum, coon , dog or cat. There was nothing you could do for the sheep. If you had tried to kill it with a rock chances are you may have only added to its distress. You did not have to even say a thing about it in this video, but you were honest and reported what you saw, and the fact that it bothered you as badly as it did just tells me that you are a kind and caring young man. God bless you. And you people who are berating him for doing nothing, just what would you have done?
Bless your heart, I can understand how it upsets you seeing an animal struggle for life, just as you recently done , and not being able to help in any way. I wasn't there, didn't see it and I know if it were me I'd be bothered to. It is a beautiful place, I would have left a trail of breadcrumbs so to not get lost lol. You did a great job with this video, considering what you have gone through with cancer. I'm happy for you to be recovering, keep your spirits up, a big part of your physical wellness is staying positive and knowing just how strong you really are. Thank you for sharing this and God bless you.
these comments are very strong and if i were you i would take them with a grain of salt... they were not there. every one has a way of dealing with unexpected dilemmas. just keep doing what you are doing keep up the good work documenting these sights you and your brother find. you both take a lot of time and put a good deal of effort into what you are both doing. it is greatly appreciated. nan from USA
In this situation you can call the local vet, RSPCA or the council who will send someone out. I'm in the country and when I've called the council or the 24hr wildlife rescue, they will give me a number to someone who will be able to come out immediately.
People make me laugh on here for commentating what you should or should not have done...You did what you thought was right in the moment. That doesn't make you a terrible person for neglecting to help the sheep. Good Lord...I'd LOVE to see other people pick up a dying sheep and take it to the vet. I bet half of the people on here wouldn't...the excuses, "Ewe. Gross! I'll get rabies." Get a grip people...he's human, not perfect.
No, it doesn't make you a terrible person, it makes you a person with little compassion. You may not be able to decipher right from wrong ... trepassing is wrong, to help to alleviate suffering of man or God's creatures ... that is right. That's only my thoughts anyway. I am an Earth sign ... that may be my problem. I simply cannot understand another way. One thing is certain, your type is happier in their lives. Good for you.
how horrible to see that poor sheep dying. It does cause stress when there isn't anything you can do to help. That would have messed with my head too. I'm sorry you found that
Mkuebler5 - I am ashamed by some of the comments you received regarding the traumatizing experience you had before shooting the video for this location. You didn’t have to say anything at all about what you experienced, but you did because you wanted to be honest to your subscribers and anyone else who may have happened upon this video. I really appreciate your honesty. Also, being born and raised surrounded by farms here in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky, I can assure you that you did all you could do. If something like that would’ve happened around here and it wasn’t discovered almost as soon as it began happening, most farmers would’ve “humanely” put the poor little animal down themselves. Don’t get me wrong, I have an enormous bleeding heart for animals. The people who commented negatively don’t know what they would’ve done unless they had to endure what you did! You can rest easy knowing that the majority of us understand and can sympathize with you. There will always be people who have something negative/bad to say regardless of the subject. Keep up the great work!
The house looks like it is circa 1920s, post WW1 farm house. It has also had several additions to it throughout its lifespan, hence the strange floorplan. It probably would have started out as a small two bedroom, and as the family expanded, so too did the house. I imagine, given the size of the house that there would have been quite a few kids running around the house at one point.
The suggestion I would offer, is while yes, it is very hard to pick up the sheep, hoping you never experience that sight again, but sometimes, just sitting with the poor gal until she passed would give her comfort in not dying alone, or tucking the baby up next to her also. Its hard to do, but very kind and compassionate. Wonder where the owners of the sheep was? Well, for everyone who reads this, hoping no one ever encounters this, but a small act of kindness to an animal goes a long way.
Kathy H And they left the animals to apparently starve to death... that's the real shame here. And the fact that the dude wouldn't help the sheep. Now that's sad.
It makes me wonder if the homeowners may have died suddenly or something!? Otherwise how could someone be so cruel? I don't know how the video guy could have helped the dying animal... unless he carries. Poor thing:(
I lived on a farm renting the landlord lived up the drive next door to us in a paddock was a sheep with spiralled horns that had spiralled into his eyes blocking vision causing pain he would walk in circles couldn't see to eat it was shocking I told the landlord whom did nothing for a month untill it got stuck in a wire fence I stormed upto the landlord demanded he put that poor creature down or SPCA will be called finally that worked. It affected me for months.
I actually live near here and have been to this house a couple of times. It is said to be haunted and that a man unalived himself and family here. The sheep is crazy weird as I've heard stories that before he did this he was seen slaughtering sheep out the front of the house or something. Obviously, these are just stories I have heard though from locals. All of them vary and not sure how true any of these are. But I just thought you all may be interested to know this.
It makes me wonder if the place was ever checked out when the tip off was given to police about Marion Barter being buried near bushland in Armidale. How far is this from the local University in Armidale as it was said she is buried near there via anonymous tip off given to the police.

mkuebler5 ignore the ignorant hon. Coming from a country background, i understand that sometimes, no matter how much you wish it werent so, animals do die from all sorts of reasons. I did not see the animal, but alot of times the animal is unaware. So while it may have dies, maybe it was not truly suffering. You have a kind heart. Dont change.
ALMOST perfect! The fade of the large tree branch shadows on the ground at 11:18 was the giveaway for me. You had me going for a minute though. Sure wish it was possible to see what this house was like in it's glory days.
Ignore the trolls negative comments, you explained the reason you couldn't do anything. I could imagine living in that house. Must have been grand in its day.
Lovely colonial clapperboard house, obviously built for a well to do family. There's some sign of the start of renovation, ie tiles removes in bathroom, mantle piece removed (to ascertain what is behind?). Totally cleared of furniture. In UK at a salvage yard you'd pay £500 for the range oven, £30 for the period wall phone. I guess from the guys' voice this is not in UK or USA, possibly Australia. These homesteads can be miles from their neighbour. Nice vid, thanks for sharing.
Just looking at the place as you come into the gate, I thought it must be in Australia. Later on I saw the water tank, then I read the comment. I'v been to Armidale many of times. Took aerial shots of the country. The place looked like a nursing home. Memories are made of these. Those country line dances & thousands of empty beer cans. Left D/Under in 1978.
I bet it was once a beautiful home! so terrible about the lamb and the baby sad, I can understand why you were so affected by that! I pray you are feeling better now!
I guessed this is Australia! I think I'd have to get a vet... I couldn't have walked away. Once I see an animal suffering, I feel it's my duty to at least try to find a way to ease the animals pain, HUMANELY.
Houses have energy. They get this energy from the people who occupied them them once. The longer a group of people have lived there, the stronger the energy left behind. Once the house becomes unoccupied, that energy roams around bouncing off the walls. People call this energy GHOSTS. This energy can be so powerful at times that it can take a form that humans can recognize. If bad people live there, the energy will be bad, bad ghosts, mean ghosts. BOO!
it was a decent size! I always wonder about the people who used to live in these old houses, what was life like for them, the good and the bad, what happened to them etc...
It’s a beautiful old home that needs some love. I was raised on a farm and it looks very familiar. And cows and sheep do sometimes have difficulties giving birth. If the owner of the property new he would be sad that he lost a lamb. I watched my father give mouth to mouth on twin lambs and they survived.
WOW, now that's a house! An old AF ass house, but a very nice and unique home with a lot of character. All of those fireplaces were awesome. I wonder how old it is. I can't imagine living with the big water thing on the back. But for a bunch of money that house could be very beautiful again. I would take down a bunch of walls keep those fireplaces. Put a new age kitchen, but probably want to keep those two hot plate looking things too. The sunroom was beautiful, love that huge bay window vibe. $🤑,🤑🤑🤑,🤑🤑🤑.🤑🤑
I was originally from Kentucky near Armidale. There is a few creepy houses in Rocky river and out at kingstown. I bet this house was beautiful in its heyday and sad to see it so dilapidated. It is a creepy video.
There is a house as far as you can drive up just past a bridge on Reeves road, Kentucky south, that is half way up the hill.there were at least two deaths in the house over the years.it has been abandoned for over thirty years.I can remember stories of sexual and family violence that were told in hushed tones. When i was in kindergarten at school i got a lift from the mum and two kids a few times but anyone who lived there only lasted a few weeks and never heard of again. There was a creepy forest near the house that was very dark no matter what time of day. The view from the top of the hill above the house is beautiful. The hill used to be known as "Old Hungry" 30 deg 47' 56.56 S 151 deg 24'57. 49 E approx co ordinates. Go there in the middle of a cold New England (AUS.) night and see how long you last there. It is not creepy just sad lonely and forgotten about. One of the rooms has a trapdoor and the rooms always have large spiders. Kentucky South was a soldiers settlement after WW1 and a lot of the veterens had problems not only from the war but trying to make a new life on terrible infertile land. There were lots of orchards there and many of the first born children died from cancer from the chemicals used spraying the trees back in the early years.
I detect severe sadness and dismay eminating from this place. Even though it may be considered a house the home part hasn't been there for many many years.
As soon as I saw the front gate, I thought it looked Australian. Then the door handles on the linen cupboard confirmed it, we had handles just like those. Now the comments confirm it..Beautiful old house in its day but what a shame it is like that now. Art decor curved front puts it back to the 1930's at a guess. Very curious... thanks for sharing. Nice to hear a video that is not full and of swear words.
Kristina Jefferson Do you have any suggestions of what he could have done for it that wouldn't involved him being arrested? If that sheep belongs to someone and he was caught trying to take it to a vet, they aren't going to believe that he was just trying to help. Sadly, there's too many cynical people in the world. But I wonder if people would treat him the same, if it was a homeless person that had the same thing as the sheep, or would they say that it was OK to not help them. People always seem to act afraid of homeless people and judge them for the reason why they're homeless.
There seem to be a lot of rooms with sinks in them and rooms with just toilets. It makes me wonder if this wasn't some sort of convalescent home or something of that sort. The large room with the windows could've been the common room. Some things just don't seem right for a private home.
Cookie Moll no problem! I didn't know that either until I watched a video of a British house tour a while ago. I'm American and had never heard of it before but still thought it was pretty neat!
My heart hurts when I see something suffering, especially when there's nothing I can do. I cry over road kill! Bless you, my mind wouldn't have been on anything but the sheep either. Good video regardless of that horrible experience!
Wow, what a cool house; too bad it fell into such disarray & decay. I love all of the windows & their views, I love how large the rooms are & how they connect...they just don't make houses like this anymore. You can't help but wonder who lived there, what their lives were like. There's just so much there...
no need to justify your actions friend, you appear to have a concious(sp) and a soft heart.with me its cats and kittens,if I saw a dead cat or kitten,i would have turned and left the property.I think both of them are in pet heaven and understand.someday you will see them again and you will have two friends. I'm sure
Not completely accurate, Stephanie babyw - I practice what I preach. I have saved and/or relieved many animals during my 47 years on this earth. Of course, taking ANY life is distressing, but if you're on the side of compassion, then you'll do what it takes to relieve suffering.
I do not understand why there are so many empty homes and people homeless. Some hard work cleaning and a few gallons of paint would offer decent shelter. The curve glass porch is very nice! Seeing a dead lamb would bother me, too.
Karen Johnson That's true, but I don't think it's legal to just pick out an abandoned house and just fix it up and move in. There are people that has done it before tho, and has gotten away with it for years. But eventually they were caught and questioned, a few ppl were charged, and a few ppl had the choice to either be out within 7 days or go to jail and still have everything they own put out on the street!!
JesusChrist OverAll I know...it is sad that People have no roof over their head, and there are so many empty houses. It is apparent that whomever owned this home loved it, and my guess is that most People would rather know that their home is being used as a home than be empty and ignored.
I think many would love to buy a neglected home and restore it. I would and many are choosing to buy smaller or neglected homes to live in. With people living in vans and rvs more now, I think people are rethinking how they live. As a senior I am considering my next step, from now paying more than I'd like in a gated property. I could be so happy with a small home. I hope more people rethink buying these old properties for little or getting a small home they may not have considered before. LIfe is to be lived and not be strapped with debt and financial hardship.
Were there not properties around where you could have inquired about whether anyone owned that sheep? I would been haunted about not doing something and letting the poor animal suffer.
it would be interesting to know the history of the house. who built it, when, and who lived in it last, and why it was left to rot. i don't understand people walking away from a property with so many homeless people around
In my minds eye, I can not figure out the floor plan of this place. There looks as though there had been add-ons at sometime. Looks like a poor folks version of the Winchester Mansion, where stairs go nowhere, rooms you can't get out of, hallways that lead nowhere, or you walk a country mile. Look it up on RUclips. I'd like to see a floor plan of this poor mans mansion.
Nice place in it's day. You could feel the history as you entered the home. The sheep dying is tough one. I had to learn when I was young. I'm 51 now. That this unfortunate to see the truth the life gives in a direct and cold way life can be. I had to learn this happens everyday somewere in the world. Doesn't make it any easier
mkuebler5...Regarding the sheep,, matey,, it is for that exact reason that most outback 'country' folk always carry a knife.. It is amazing how often you need one to untangle critters & birds caught in rope or twine & sadly, sometimes you have to dispatch one when there is nothing else can be done for them... Very sorry that the ewe & lamb upset you so much :( You have a very kind soul.. Thank you for the videos. I know some of these buildings you've filmed :)
My first thought: I would have been scared to death of snakes in a place like this. Second: Beautiful views. There had to have been water at one time. I wonder if this house is salvageable to live in?
I agree. I got the sense that some serious violence occurred in that house. Sad that it has been left to decay because it would have been a stunning house in it's prime. The lounge room and the adjoining dinning room, are so spacious.
Beatiful house. Lots of windows. You must be a very sensitive person, which isn't a bad thing, but sensitive people tend to suffer more. God loves you. :-)
It looked to me like an abandoned old folks home with the sinks all over the place and the large kitchen and what looked like large pantry storage. Whatever it was it was creatively added to over the years!
Such a stunning old home.. but I could feel the depth of something horrible and bad had a happened in this home before you entered. You confirmed this for me of how quiet you were and the sighing you were doing. The house definitely has a presence there. I watched the video several times .. each room made me very uneasy. I understand your comment about “ should have never gone in.” I do however love all the fireplaces and the different size rooms .. Very cool but VERY BAD at the same time. Do you know the history on the home .? I’m curious to know.

I agree, and you just might stumble into something you never ever dreamed of finding out there.
I love how polite you are in all the places you visit. it's a mess and you still put things back how you found them lol love the vids!
You didn't even think to call an animal rescue or something! Good grief!!!!
I view these places as 'HAND PRINTS' of people's lives . Thank you for sharing -- for I could never go to places like this . Your appreciated 👍😀
I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves this house. It would be beautiful renovated. Love the windows.
You are so sweet caring about the sheep and baby. Great video as usual :)
Smug Smugly
um! Maybe you didn't read the description.
Maybe I got my houses mixed up
Well the house still could haunted by jj
Smug Smugly wow that an awful story...
Smug Smugly Seems you always know the ends of stories but never seem to get them right!!! How do you know all these ends to stories???? This is not the first time I’ve read one of your stories. Just that- stories!!! Please stop commenting!!!!!
This actually makes me sad. That must have been a beautiful home in it's time.
Whenever I watch videos of such houses I've an urge to clean and restore the entire place to make it liveable .
Denise Martinez are u crazy u can't remodel that place
Poor sheep and lamb. It's unfortunate but that is life sometimes. Hope you are able to return there someday soon. Good luck with your exploring!
I think this is an incredible old home that can be rehabilitated. I can 'see' Christmas stockings on the first room's fireplace mantle and can 'hear' children laughing and a man coming home from work saying, "I'm home!" This can still be an incredible home for someone who falls in love with it!
I love stuff like this, all the twists and turns... Trying to imagine just how it would have been. Thank you for the upload
Such a shame. It would have been Beautiful back in the day. It upsets me to see houses like this being left to rot.
Wow!! So easy to judge others when not in their shoes.
This is not a fixer-upper. It is a tear-it-downer.
I bet this house was beautiful back in the day
Yes, more than likely. Anybody know where this house is located?
Thank you. To see a structure with little commentary and vandalism was a blessing. Very beautiful dwelling.
Amazing house, just crying out to be restored, and filled with love and laughter.
If it were me, I'd be in contact with a vet, ASAP to provide care for that sheep.
This is an amazing old place. What a strange design though. Very different.
that house has some amazing fetures and all those beautiful windows wow. I'd move in and love it.
Amazing home and I reckon it could tell such historical stories as well as of life and hardship. Why do people leave such beauty to decay. Thank you
What a lovely home it must have been!It makes me so sad to think that a family used to live and play there and maintain it.... now it's just a mess:(
Kathy H And they left the animals to apparently starve to death... that's the real shame here. And the fact that the dude wouldn't help the sheep. Now that's sad.
It makes me wonder if the homeowners may have died suddenly or something!? Otherwise how could someone be so cruel?
I don't know how the video guy could have helped the dying animal... unless he carries. Poor thing:(
Kathy H They could've died, yes. But honestly, people move and leave animals behind a lot. People can be horrible to animals.
Some people treat the helpless like children and animals with no regard!
Allot of animals got left behind during the housing crisis ....pitiful!!
The fireplaces were wonderful and the gate to the property fabulous.
Thanks for sharing the video. I share your pain regarding the Sheep and it's baby, I felt sad when I read about the sheep suffering.
Thanks for Watching Pete Ciallella
Thank you for all the comments on this video.
Let me explain a few things here..
An average sheep weighs roughly 200lb so there was absolutely no way of me trying to haul it through a paddock and over a barb wire fence to try and find a vet in the nearest town about 20 minutes away from where I was on a Sunday without me causing it great trauma and distress.
I had a phone but because of the isolated area I was in, had no signal. The sheep was not mind to take nor try to kill. I thought about whacking it with a rock but would probably have caused it far more distress before it died.
I didn't not film it because it would have caused an outrage and a barrage of vile comments, just me stating that it was there and that it affected me has provided me with enough disgusting comments as it is.
I rushed through the house because my mind was not set on being there as all I could think of was the sheep plus I had driven 4 hrs before I found this place so took the opportunity to film while I could. We have gun laws in Australia that prevent the carrying of guns.
I made another extensive video of the property if people choose to view it when I went back again a few months later because it has great historical significance .
If you really want to see dead sheep, you'll see quite a few in that one.I'll put the link in the description.
Thanks for watching
mkuebler5 ignore the ignorant hon. Coming from a country background, i understand that sometimes, no matter how much you wish it werent so, animals do die from all sorts of reasons. I did not see the animal, but alot of times the animal is unaware. So while it may have dies, maybe it was not truly suffering. You have a kind heart. Dont change.
Hello mkuebler, Thank you so much for going back to re-shoot the house. When do you expect to post the newer video?
Mike Croaro The link to the video is in the description and thanks for watching
mkuebler5 so you left the sheep. It was alive or not?
mkuebler5 You have a kind heart.
I'm so sorry you had to witness what you did. Let yourself grieve. It's okay to feel sad and affected by it. You're human.
ALMOST perfect! The fade of the large tree branch shadows on the ground at 11:18 was the giveaway for me. You had me going for a minute though. Sure wish it was possible to see what this house was like in it's glory days.
Pinkthud62 what do you mean ? Could you please elaborate for me ?
I imagine This was a beautiful house once upon a time.
Would have been a stately homestead in it's time. The original owner was the first to introduce Merrino sheep to the area.
This place! Had to beautiful. ! At it's best! I loved it. !
Nice vid, thanks for sharing.
anotherblonde well said
It is indeed Australia, and youre right, it was miles *many* from anywhere
Once I see an animal suffering, I feel it's my duty to at least try to find a way to ease the animals pain, HUMANELY.
it's very good to know there are people out there that have a heart! so sad!
The way it is laid out with sinks in every room and that large kitchen, it makes me think it was an old private nursing home.
Crochet Jones good call we still have some of these privates nursing homes in town
I love this house it goes on and on
I'm so sorry you had that experience. I do a lot of animal rescue and some stuff just hurts your heart.
I wonder what happened here. You can see this was a beautiful home and beautiful property at 1 time.
Thank you. I have just discovered you vid. No constant chatter or fast jerky filming.
Good job sir.from Aussie.
That was really cool
Yeah, I agree, I'm guessing 30 or 40 years ago that house was a show place. But it has so many twists and turns. kinda creepy.
The hill used to be known as "Old Hungry"

151 deg 24'57. 49 E approx co ordinates.
Even though it may be considered a house the home part hasn't been there for many many years.
was creepy and and felt very gloomy like not good things were here could use some talking also very dirty would take off video
@@sharonfoster8011 i totally agree there.
I agree 👍
Nice to see an abandoned abode that's not vandilised.
Respect.👍
As soon as I saw the front gate, I thought it looked Australian. Then the door handles on the linen cupboard confirmed it, we had handles just like those. Now the comments confirm it..Beautiful old house in its day but what a shame it is like that now. Art decor curved front puts it back to the 1930's at a guess. Very curious... thanks for sharing. Nice to hear a video that is not full and of swear words.
A shame that filming an empty house was more important than trying to help a creature in distress.
Molly Coffman you don't know this. Stop maligning this person.
i cant watch anymore videos from u now.. im always going to think about that sheep and how u left it there to suffer. breaks my heart. i cant imagine.
Cookie Moll in different countries, the "bathroom" has the bathtub and sink while the toilet just has the toilet :)
Tori Wissinger I did not know that. Thank you.
What was there to be affected for days?
I lived in a bad neighborhood for nearly 5 years of my life. I'm still affected, and it's been 8 years since I moved away.
Wow! It was a beautiful home back in its time.
Thanks for the tour.
no need to justify your actions friend, you appear to have a concious(sp) and a soft heart.with me its cats and kittens,if I saw a dead cat or kitten,i would have turned and left the property.I think both of them are in pet heaven and understand.someday you will see them again and you will have two friends. I'm sure
where is this? And, I'm sorry for the distressing scene you stumbled upon. Thank you for your evident compassion for the animals....
Ah, what compassion ?
Exactly. He walked away. Personally, I would have used whatever I had to, to help this poor animal into a pain-free existence. But, that's just me....
MsEnchntress & that would have scarred you for life ... easier said than done
Not completely accurate, Stephanie babyw - I practice what I preach. I have saved and/or relieved many animals during my 47 years on this earth. Of course, taking ANY life is distressing, but if you're on the side of compassion, then you'll do what it takes to relieve suffering.
Does anyone know why it was abandoned in the first place? I'd love to know the history to these sorts of houses!
Xanado Debz Crazy people lived there! You happy now?LMAO!!! ✨😆🤘✨🇺🇸
I like the room with windows along the back to bring light into the living room.
i loved this house!! its beautiful and unique. it would be so beautiful redone. :-)
Yes, at least give a little comfort in last living minutes.
How do you know he didn't comfort it? Were you there?
HE SAID "I could do nothing to the unfortunate creature but walk away and let nature take it's course."
as I said, were you there?? You don't know that he might have spent time with the poor thing for some time.
as he said, there was NOTHING he could do and walked away.
What a cool house this had to be back in the day it was built!
it would be interesting to know the history of the house. who built it, when, and who lived in it last, and why it was left to rot. i don't understand people walking away from a property with so many homeless people around
Beautiful house. I love it.
My first thought: I would have been scared to death of snakes in a place like this. Second: Beautiful views. There had to have been water at one time. I wonder if this house is salvageable to live in?
Looks like a once beautiful farm house that they added on to for family or servants.
That house would be beautiful & really cool looking fixed up...
I would like it to be renevated interesting!
Got really bad vibes watching this video. I could not even finish it. beautiful but beyond Creepy!
