    I really want to meet this guy. I have similar vision and I’m trying to learn Rapa Nui language as well.

    its getting lost because the damn Spanish language was spread there and the people just started speaking spanish over the centuries... just like how the Hawaiian language is dying and being replaced with pidgin English.

      Seems completely live and kicking on the island to me. The locals almost all speak it as their first language.

    Cook Islands language sounds so similar to Rapa Nui almost identical.
