Once me and my friend were playing Pokemon Red on an emulator. I guess it was 2-3 years ago. We were alone at my home and we finally escaped the mt.moon cave and started to enter Lavender town. We already knew the conspiracy theories related to the town and especially the music. We ourselves were to experience the feeling. Our character stepped into the town. And as soon as we got into it, The bell rang on our door and we screamed like hell! We were scared to the bottom of our hearts!! But thankfully it was just my parents who returned home lmao

I think my creepiest moment was in platinum on the way to snowpoint city you will find 2 houses one on left side and the other on right side but the right side one is little further up if you go to the right side one you will find an lady which will say "oh , a human its a rare sight" and then she will give you an spell tag the house lights are not on too if you go out and came back in then that women is not there so yeah play platinum go to road to snowpoint city you will see it :)
