Statistics say that in the overwhelming majority of cases, when a coach returns to a place he previously coached, he doesn't have as much success the second time around.
@@tutnod2449 We shall see. Statistics are just cold, meaningless numbers that can't measure heart or the madness it takes to defy the odds. History is full of men like Bill Walsh and Belichick who came back stronger, and this coach is no different-he’s here to burn the old playbook and rewrite the story on his own terms.
Responding to Coburne's question: The HC coach who twice said the Pitt game was not a big deal to him was Neal Brown! Rich Rod did an excellent job, and he does play WVU football. Brown shoulda been fired when Lyons was let go, but hindsight...
there is a school that lost the grap the facemask coach and replaced him with a pat on the butt coach.. that team was in the playoffs more than they were not in the last 17 years with the facemask coach.. could not make the 12 game playoff with the pat the butt coach.. in the past 17 years WV has had pat the butt coaches.. they have a grap the facemask coach again... What did the guy say from the crowd that they booed?
I think he said, "Go back to Michigan!" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Just remember he left you guys for a place that never wanted him
College football is depressing these days with the millionaire children running the show but I do like a small taste from the past.
Michigan > Arizona > JSU. Looks like his stock has been plummeting for quite a while. No P4 buyers.
