It was a family member. It's obvious.
For an intruder to have done everything is totally implausible - finding an open window concealed under a heavy grate, getting inside, wending their way upstairs, grabbing Jon Benet, hitting her, making a garrote from scratch, strangling her, carrying her downstairs (not necessarily in that order), writing a three-page note (including obfuscating the writing), going back upstairs and leaving it on the staircase, then finally sneaking out the window and replacing the grate. All in almost total darkness and in complete silence not waking any of the other three people in the house.
Also consider: Either the offender found the paintbrush, string, notepad, and pen then made the garrote and wrote the note without turning on a light (imagine how dark the basement was), or, they were so calm and collected they turned on a light and did all that confident no one would notice. And why even write a note in the first place? The 'kidnapper' knew she was dead; who would spend time writing a three-page note at a crime scene in the faint hope the body wouldn't be discovered before a ransom was paid? The intruder would have to be smart and remarkably composed yet clueless at the same time.
I also think the Ramsey's had so many people over in a deliberate attempt to contaminate the crime scene. In this day and age who in their right mind invites dozens of people over to what they already know is a crime scene? Or moves a body for that matter?

If one of your children went missing and you don’t know if the person who took them is still somewhere in your house, wouldn’t you want your other child right at your side immediately? "Perfect Town, Perfect Murder" SCHILLER: "As the morning wore on, the victim advocates, Jedamus and Morlock, decided to go out and get bagels and fruit for everyone."
Priscilla White was trying to keep her friend Patsy from fainting. She seemed to be in shock; she was vomiting and hyperventilating. Then she started to again cry. “Why didn’t I hear my baby?” Later in the morning the Ramseys’ friends were still in the rear of the house consoling Patsy, who clutched a crucifix in her hands. Patsy threw herself on her daughter’s body. She pleaded with Rev. Hoverstock to bring her daughter back to life. Then Patsy raised herself onto her knees, lifted her arms straight into the air and screamed, “Jesus, you raised Lazarus from the dead, please raise my baby!” The room was empty, but they could hear the mother sobbing. She was at the rear of the house, surrounded by friends."
"She was Little Miss Colorado in 1995,” said Dee Dee Nelson-Schneider, a family friend. “She had her own float in the Colorado Parade of Lights in December 1995, and Patsy walked along the side of the float the whole parade to make sure (JonBenét) was safe. That’s how protective Patsy was.” -Elliot Zaret and Alli Krupski Daily Camera, December 27, 1996"
" Patsy had to be helped even in the bathroom. Finally, the Valium she had taken made Patsy drowsy. She fell asleep again on the living room floor. Two hours later she was awake again, sobbing, asking if all the doors and windows were locked.
"John Ramsey, lying on the sofa, slept fitfully. When he nodded off, his mask of stoicism vanished. He heaved with sobs."

Don't forget the fact that there were the ones who actually committed the crime while the Ramsey's were asleep.
The insider who had the key was Linda Pugh who I believe was involved. I believe she was the "facilitator." There is a theory to this effect. It is called "The Pugh Crew" and you can find it at The Jonbenet Ramsey Case Encyclopedia.
Pugh had access to every part of the house and on Thanksgiving while the Ramsey's were away on a holiday in NYC, the Pugh's were tasked with taking Christmas trees from the basement up to the various rooms to prepare for the Open House. They found the trees in the "Wine Cellar Room," which is the room where JB's body was found. What is significant about this room is that there was an in floor safe. Late November coincides with what John Kenady reported about Michael Helgoth. Helgoth told him he was going to make a "killer deal" around Christmas whereby he and a partner would each make $50 to $60 thousand dollars which is roughly the amount of the ransom demand. Kenady said after Christmas Helgoth told him the deal fell through. Then Helgoth was found dead the day after Valentine's Day. Despite Kenady's best efforts to get the BPD to investigate this they claimed Helgoth died from a suicide. Who commits suicide using a pillow to muffle the sound when they are home alone? He was shot from left to right although he was right handed. There were stun guns and a hat with SBTC on it. He had Hi-Tek boots. He had two wolf dog pups with fur of the same colors as found on JB's hands. He was a known sadist who liked to kill cats slowly and wring kittens' necks. He had been a sniper in the military. He liked to dress up like a ninja and wander around late at night. The area around the Ramsey's had had 100's of burglaries in the time leading up to JB's murder and in many cases they were merely break ins. Strange labeling and other odd evidence someone had been in the Ramsey house was also found.
Back to Linda Pugh. She had the identical note pads and pens in her house as discovered by the BPD the very evening after the murder. Pugh became hysterical and did not write the words from the Ransom Note when asked. She wrote a scurrilous Chapter 1 to a book she called "The Death of an Innocent." She showed here she had made a detailed study of Patsy's handwriting from the To Do Notes Patsy gave her to do.
I don't think, however, that she was present for the actual murder. She delegated this task, I believe, to Helgoth and Chris Wolf. Wolf had a master's in journalism and was observed to rant and rave against Ramsey at the time the article about Access Graphics came out. He was a stripper, performed live sex with men and women, and had been arrested for public indecency. His girlfriend went to the police because he was out all night the night of the murder and did not return till the next morning. His clothes were dirty and he took a shower. He again ranted against Ramsey and even wrote a letter to Carol McKinley of Fox News stating "Ramsey was a Merchant of Death," and any adult male would want to have sex with JonBenet. He sued the Ramsey's for libel
      someoneisgettingawaywithmurder.blogspot.com/2010/11/death-of-innocent.html
Handwriting comparison analysis shows someone who matched the writing. law.justia.com/.../distr.../FSupp2/253/1323/2567726/ “For example, forensic document examiner Lloyd Cunningham cannot eliminate plaintiff as the author of the ransom note,” Judge Carnes wrote. “Plaintiff’s ex-girlfriend has also testified that she was ‘struck by how the handwriting in the note resembled (Wolf’s) own handwriting,’ and believes that he is the note’s author.” imgur.com/r/JonBenet/8Ha6H4CThe shaky beginning is because it was being copied on to Patsy's pad already having been drafted using many lines from movies. The initial stages were when the author was enervated by the crime. It is not known whether JB was alive when it was copied, but she was alive when it was composed in advance by a man who hated John Ramsey and had expressed that both before and after the crime. Letter to Carol McKinley, Fox News: jonbenetramseymurder.discussion.community/post/the-%E2%80%98carol-mckinley-letter-sent-to-fox-news-by-chris-wolf-10460552
Also please look into the documentary of three parts called "Real Crime: The Death of the Pageant Queen."
According to Chief Buckner, he did not know whether Helgoth's and Wolf's DNA had been compared to the later, much more substantial DNA, from the second blood spot which was not revealed until AFTER the Grand Jury had finished. This DNA was substantial and met the criteria the FBI requires to be listed in its COVIS Files.

No one has ever suggested that the Ramsey's decided ahead of time to kill their daughter, even the biggest Ramsey haters.

Who could have had that inside information about Patsy's handwriting, known about JB's bed wetting, known the bonus John got, known to put the RN on the stairs where Patsy came down to make coffee in the morning, known the dog wasn't there, the alarm wasn't off. And most importantly, who would know that there was an in floor safe in the Wine Cellar Room where JB was found murdered. The answer: The same person who had identical pads and pens, black duct tape and white nylon cord as found in their house the very day of the murder, by the POLICE! Linda Pugh and her husband Mervyn. They were at the Ramsey home during Thanksgiving with the task of bringing the Christmas trees for the Open House upstairs to the different rooms. The place where they found those trees - the Wine Cellar Room with the in floor safe. Can you imagine what went through their heads when they contemplated what might be in that safe? ($$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and lots of it.) How to get access to it. They could enlist a couple of guys - one with the brains and the other with the muscle. Chris Wolf and Michael Helgoth.

If it is an inside job, then it implies a male predator was molesting Jon Benet and may have been for a while. One simply cannot ignore the DNA as if it's insignificant; it is. The DNA perhaps dates back to earlier in the day or the night before.

The Facilitator, Linda Pugh, knew the layout of the house, that the alarm was off, the dog across the street, the Ramsey's schedule, that there was an in ground safe, that the basement window was broken, where she and only she had hidden Burke's knife, and so much more.
She had been in the house on Thanksgiving when she and her family were paid to take the artificial trees upstairs and to wash the windows. Her later comments about not knowing that room was there are lies because the trees were stored there. There was an in ground safe as well and that was what sparked the idea of a kidnapping.
The police found extra identical notepads and pens taken from Patsy in Pugh's house when they went to talk to Pugh the very day of the murder. She had examples of Patsy's handwriting from To Do Notes Patsy would write out for her work assignments.
She changed her story about Patsy which she first said was that Patsy did not get upset about Jonbenet's bedwetting in Schiller's Book, Perfect Murder, Perfect Town to Patsy "taking JB to the Bathroom and after shutting the door she said she heard JB scream. Odd she never told investigators that but waited for her planned book "The Death of an Innocent."
Both She and Chris Wolf knew Santa Bill who was enamored of JB but whose health prevented him from being in on it, except in the planning stages.
JB told the mother of her friend Meghan that Santa was going to visit her AFTER Christmas. What better way to get a child to come with - Dress like Santa, put his fingers to his lips for silence, and take the child where she can't be heard three stories above. Chris Wolf at first lied under oath about knowing Professor McReynold's (Santa Bill) but had to admit it when he was shown the copy of the letter that assigned Santa as his faculty advisor in journalism.
Santa's own daughter had allegedly been abducted two decades earlier to the day along with a friend. Oddly, only the friend was molested.
Wolf's handwriting was found to be more like the ransom note's than Patsy's was.

The kidnappers could have been casing the house, and would have seen the cops come quite clearly. That is pretty suspicious. At least you would have to stop and think about signing your daughters death warrant within 3 minutes of getting the note. Who else would call the cops IMMEDIATELY?

farmgal77 The length of the RN and the amount of detail it had from movies shows that it was not written at the time of the crime, but some time before. It was just copied on to Patsy's pad using her pen by someone who was told where to locate them. That means this crime was premeditated. No one has ever suggested that the Ramsey's decided ahead of time to kill their daughter, even the biggest Ramsey haters. Here is another indication that it was premeditated: "The day before Christmas, JonBenét was at our house playing with Megan. The kids were talking about Santa, getting all excited. I asked JonBenét if she had visited Santa Claus yet. She said, “Oh, Santa was at our Christmas party the other night.” Megan had seen Santa at the Pearl Street Mall, so we talked about that. Then JonBenét said, “Santa Claus promised that he would make a secret visit after Christmas.” I thought she was confused. “Christmas is tonight,” I told her. “And Santa will be coming tonight.” “No, no,” JonBenét insisted. “He said this would be after Christmas. And it’s a secret.” -Barbara Kostanick " SCHILLER, "Perfect Town, Perfect Crime."

I just...... when a child is kidnapped like this statistically it’s someone known to the family. Weather it be a friend, neighbor, or hell even the plumber. The fact that friends were cleaning the house kills me as anyone of them could have done it, and were cleaning up their tracks.
Just the day before they had a open house party and an estimated 500+ people were in and out of their house. People have since claimed that Jon the father had talked openly at the party about his bonus as he was planning something to spend it on. Anyone could have scoped out the house, talked with the father. Hell they could have talked to Jon Benét, and easily could have told her he would come back to see here. Hence no screams, and why she would have been up in the middle of the night eating.
We will just never know because police incompetence, hell with how hard the police push for the parents it wouldn’t surprise me if one of their own might have done it and they were covering for them.

I’ve always wondered why, if the Ramseys called several of their friends and family to come to the house, why was there no attempt by any of these people to locate JonBenet? I mean, if you called these folks to supposedly “help,” wouldn’t you be heading in out in groups to search for her. Alternatively, given that they had the RAnsom note and maybe thought looking for her would be futile, shouldn’t have Jon been running around getting the money together and their affairs in order to comply with the Ransom? Yet, all of the reports I’ve heard about say that no one in that house said anything about complying with the ransom or the fact that the time stated for the phone call/demands from the kidnappers had come and gone. In fact, the woman officer states that she told Jon and his friend to comb through the house just to give them something to do. There is no way that was a legit Ransom note if that’s the case. To me, that points away from the intruder theory.

A three page Ransom note 📝 that’s very mysterious 🕵🏽‍♂️

    • @vernonfrance2974
      @vernonfrance2974 3 года назад

The length of the RN and the amount of detail it had from movies shows that it was not written at the time of the crime, but some time before. It was just copied on to Patsy's pad using her pen by someone who was told where to locate them. That means this crime was premeditated. No one has ever suggested that the Ramsey's decided ahead of time to kill their daughter, even the biggest Ramsey haters.
There is evidence that the person primarily responsible for the RN had a working knowledge of Patsy's expressions and some particulars about her handwriting. They also had some insider information about the amount of the Ransom Note equaling John's '95 Christmas bonus.
Hmmm.
Here, if interested, is where you can find a lot more about them.

That note always threw me for a loop. Patsy Ramsey quoting from Dirty Harry? Not likely. And this stuff (addressed to him) about his "southern common sense"......he wasn't from the south. Patsy was. I think the guy just mistakenly thought he was too.

I find it suspicious af that before checking the house, there making calls to 911 and then why leave a ransom note if your going to leave the person your going to hold for ransom. I also find it odd that during the time that the cops where on the way they didnt check the house fully. And then to be a parent of a child that was abducted but not think to make sure evidence wasnt destroyed? you allow friends to come into the house and start cleaning... parent either did it or there son did it and the covered it up.
