Budokai Tenkaichi 4 announcement brought me here to remind me of how glorious BT3 was. The second best DBZ game ever made, a love letter to any fan, a true master piece.
and some characters weren't able to really harm Broly or the buffed Trunks with their hits. But i didn't like the buffed Trunks because he moved so slow (but very faithful to the original DBZ). SS4 Gogeta and Burter were OP when playing with friends, but if i rember correctly also SS Goku with the instand Kamehameha because you couldn't dodge it, it was an instant hit.

Despite all the DBZ games that have come out over the years, BT1 has the most badass and authentic Intro of all of DBZ games of the Franchise. BT2 and BT3 in my opinion still remains the most Unique and the best DBZ games in terms of content, quality and fanservices. And from the gameplay perspective aspects, these DBZ games that I mentioned are very close to the anime itself because of the Vibe and Charm, I don't know how to describe it but it was, and still is the most Unique DBZ experience you could have with the combat factor. (- Sheer amount de of characters - Transformations mid-battle (powering up and down) - Fusions mid-battle - Fast gameplay that has that "woah" feel - Tons of extra content - Story mode covering all sagas + movies - What If sagas - Shenron having permanent impact on game (character unlocks and whatnot) - Great tournaments that rotate availability - Edit characters with items (buffs) - 5v5 battles - Really Great and Epic Soundtracks - Destroyable environments - Entire stages could be blown up into their "destroyed" alternatives - Mission 100 being a great challenge - Artwork is 10/10 - Sound effects are great - Combat feels heavy and satisfying) Only Budokai 3, Infinite World and the Raging Blast 1 and 2 are still considered also very solid DBZ games, also the hidden gem that a lot of DBZ fans missed from PS2 Era of DBZ games is "Super Dragon Ball Z" which is also a real Unique and DBZ game, especially for the different gameplay aspects perspective. ✌☯️

Probably another online focused trash game with a million DLCs like FighterZ. Going to the point where they even nerf or buff attacks in a SINGLE PLAYER game! With characters you don't unlock with skill and for free. Just money. And bad controls. Like, sorry for the negative comment and the bad vibes, but as someone who played Tenkaichi 2 and 3 for over 3000 hours each, i am not looking forward to this. I hate focus on MP, it's so annoying. Maybe there's a small chance, that it gets the Kakarott treatment and becomes a good single player game, but who knows...

No, if they made special and diverse combos, accurate and long story, a good way to unlock things, replay value that you would actually want to go back to, add many missing characters, more costumes, a better roster, translate all the move names (and don't use the English names, they can say the dumb Funi name, but use the direct translation for the text), a better intro sequence (ugly animation), better move sets, and fix the online connection, then I would buy it. Some of the things I'm okay without, but some I am, since it gets so much praise.
