- Similar to the LG Styler, the Samsung AirDresser's a garment care appliance that purports to sanitise and refresh your clothes using steam. We took it out for a test drive to see how it lives up to its claims. Is it just full of hot air or is it worth its $2,499 price tag?

Would love some input on energy efficiency
My husband has many suits and I with dresses, so I will be investing in one.
But can this dewrinkle my tshirts faster than the dryer? thats all i want it for
It needs to evolve, and sure needs a shoe rack and other racks, and lidar computerized dynastic for cleaning too - little more spry there more heat there AI it clean yet
How much noise does this thing put out while running?
More curious to see this compared to the V-Zug Refresh-Butler V6000. A steamer closet for a whopping 25.000$ ...
These are only $1,000 now
Knowing what you know and having the experience, would you still get this if you just needed to steam clothes and shirts to get rid of wrinkles?
It really depends on how deep those wrinkles are. If it's just light creases, the AirDresser will definitely be helpful if you don't want to have to manually smooth them out using a regular garment steamer. For clothes that need ironing and pressing e.g. cotton/linen shirts, then the AirDresser may not work as well.
@@renonation-sg Thanks for a solid response. I guess it's a little too expensive, for a little bit of functionality.
say you have 5 wet shirts that just came out of the washer, and you hang them up in this samsung airdresser will it completely dry the clothes? or get them like real close to dry? i dont have alot of laundry and i would like to wash like a few shirts after 2 days like 2 shirts, 2 pants 2 underwear and say if i have only a washer can this replace having to buy a dryer? just wondering how well the performance is with completely wet clothes that just came out of the washer
The AirDresser works best with with 3 wet clothes hung at a go so that there’s enough space for the hot air to circulate. The clothes will need to be hung properly (e.g. not folded, overlapped, etc) with the given hangers, otherwise you will need to run the machine a few times before the clothes are completely dry. Since you don’t have a lot of laundry, perhaps consider a washer-dryer combo appliance instead? 😊
@@renonation-sg this place I'm in doesn't have washer dryer hookups so I was thinking this because I found a washer that uses the sink and you drain it in the tub.
I saw function " Room Care" ? What' is that?
Hi there, the Room Care cycle will dehumidify the immediate area surrounding your AirDresser. This cycle can run for either 2 or 4 hours. Before starting the cycle, remove all items from the AirDresser, and keep the door open as the cycle runs. Note: The temperature inside the AirDresser may increase. Hope this helps. :)
Would you say this removes or lessens armpit stink? 😅
It removes odours :)
What happens if a person gets stuck inside? Do they suffer steam burns or is there a safety mechanism ?
Hi, there's a child lock feature that can be activated, which will deactivate every button except the power button. And it's not that spacious to fit in an adult, so it's unlikely to have someone get stuck inside accidentally. The door has a magnetic enclosure, which can be opened from the inside. Though we do not have the exact temperature in the unit when switched on, but the steam should be at least 100 °C. Hope this helps.
If a person gets stuck inside a Air Dresser, they got greater problems than steam burns.
All their wrinkles will disappear, and they will be sanitized. Thanks.

800 to 1100 here in USA
Quite a bit of price difference!
Is this my best option to remove wrinkles the dryer caused in polo shirts and jeans? Or do I keep ironing?????
if those are deep wrinkles caused by the dryer, the AirDresser doesn't quite remove them unfortunately.
@@renonation-sgwhat if you dont use a dryer but you use this machine right after the washing machine?
@@salihucar9141did you ever get to find out?
Can it be used to sanitize shoes?
Hello, it shouldn’t be a problem to sanitize shoes. 😄
Is this good for suits etc?
Hi, there are professional care options that cater for suits, school uniforms, wool/knit, down jackets, fur/leather, heavy duty, winter coats and denim
The grand airdresser is $1,300 and if you have a discount like military like me, it came out to $1,153
I just mine for $721. The grand air dresser is a cell sleek looking piece
Do we really need it ???
Even if we do, results seems not at all impressive.
Definitely depending on your needs! Not everyone will find it useful. It's useful if you have a lot of dry cleaning clothes and don't want to run to the dry cleaner all the time.
@@renonation-sg does it really dry clean cloths same as dry clean shops?
Tell me you have too much money without telling me you have too much money. Samsung: Hold my beer.
