Great reaction!! Love it. Al Green is of African American descent. He is a gospel and R&B singer. He has faith. Is a Christian. Turned into a Reverend in his later days. Savio hit the nail on the head about the piano.
Al became a Born Again Christian after he had already been a famous R&B singer for years. Never ever heard an Al Green song I didn't like... Years after that, he became a Gospel recording artist... His Gospel years since are even better IMO... Thanks, guys!
Al green one of the RnB and gospel singers great voice Can you play song from my country new zealand band katchafire song is called 100 dedicated to all the mums
Off the top of my head I can only think of 2 song that has acoustic piano..On the Hi Records..Recordings...Nothing takes the place of you and God Blessed our love...The signature sound was the Hamon B3 ..Fendet Rhodes piano n Memphis Horn section..
You have to hear him live, especially How Can You Mend a Broken Heart. I was a little girl when he was so popular but what I remember was he had a way with singing his songs that just captivated the fans, especially the women. I look back now and I see that he was a preacher just naturally the gift is there. He did go back and forth for some time between the church and the secular but eventually answered the call of God permanently. He has a church in Memphis I believe and he preaches every Sunday. And he has a legit RUclips page.

Man Al Green is so good. I love so much of his music.
Al Green has been singing for about 50 years. He started in the early 1970s. He's from the era of great soul music.
“Let’s Stay Together” was his biggest hit when I was a teen in the early 70’s
You gotta love Al...
I do!
