I am a leftist and I stoped watching TYT as even I believe they are way to biased in their opinions and how they do their reports. I would argue that Amanpour represents the majority of actual working journalists. The flashy stuff that actually ends up on your screen is just a diluted, digestible version of the hard reporting that people are conducting everyday. I love her! CNN International is not Fake News as some folks might call it's sister channel. I was deployed to southwest Asia during the first Gulf War and CNN was relied on for accurate and timely reporting.
You're definitely right on CNN International not being fake news. They are a reliable news source. However, speaking as a person who grew up watching CNN International as one of the few English news sources available in the region, I will say that their reporting on certain (*cough cough* US politics *cough*) issues can be a bit less and they can start focusing on what they are supposed to be covering - international news. Most of their breaking news and their panels are focused on the aspect of US politics that the rest of the world - or at least I - can stand to have a little less of.

The Daily Show finally interviewed an actual journalist! Not a 24 hour daytime talk show host. No offense to any other journalists Trevor may have interviewed recently, but the difference is staggering. Much like CNN America Edition and CNN International.
I wonder why did they repost an old interview from 2016 without any explanation?
Maybe it's a test to check if anybody notices it at all. If not they can just rerun all the old stuff in a loop.
