One of the greatest gifts to Country Music....ever. What an incredible voice.
I am a 51 year old AA female, and I can honestly say, this song transcends any and all generation and racial barriers. Randy’s voice sounds like an Angel, so smooth and comforting. I would like for this song to be played at my home going celebration, in dedication to my sons, when the Lord calls me home. I absolutely love this and Forever and Ever, Amen. God bless you Mr Travis, thank you for sharing your beautiful God-given talents. ❤❤❤

Every word was sang perfectly
Graduated in '87. Every Friday and Saturday night was Randy and Hank Jr Marathon. Some of the greatest, times with my best friend and our girls. Lasted from final bell at school, jumping in the truck, till wtrapping it up for the night. His music was pure, honest and fun. That's unlike a few things we did on the weekends (whole different stories, for another time)
This is the real deal country music at it's best. 🎶
Missed the chance to see him live due to a sick infant in 2002. I still regret not getting that opportunity

When I saw him live about 20 years ago, I was really impressed with how it all sounded like he was in the studio.
But yeah, there are some subtle differences here... for some reason the fiddle is inaudible some of the time. The cheesy synth in place of the harmonica. And the steel guitar doing the intro instead of a dobro.

For sure one of my favorite songs of Randy travis. randy travis is one of the best singers of all time. He was always a natural. And he always tied with Keith whitley as having the best voice in country music. If Keith whitley would have lived he would have been amazing doing a duet with and working with randy travis
Randy has always been my abs fav and the tragic developments his life have saddened all his devoted fans. I listen to at least one of his songs daily.

One of my favorite songs. He has a great voice and always chose the best songs for himself. Dolly shouldn't have took him out of the mountains though. It killed him to be in public like that.
