Lol it's comical that Texas saying they lost players cause of NIL as Texas pays the most for NIL so when Texas loses a recruit it's cause of NIL but not when they get a recruit

It was supposed to be between $1.0 - 1.2 m. Texas said "no." The money said "yes."
I'm already weary, and leary, of players who are pre-occupied with the NIL.

NIL is gonna force coaching staffs to really do their homework and exhaustively scout and evaluate players and get the real underrated gems that don’t cost a huge NIL amount.

You know NIL is an issue when Texas is getting out bided 😭😭

    • @AJXOXO-vz1pn

@@GrayGamer Texas isn’t getting outbid. Texas, at a certain point is saying, “we aren’t paying that”. Texas is not saying they can’t afford to pay that.

@@AJXOXO-vz1pnit’s just funny because Texas is more known as the moneybags program that buys people out so if they are drawing a line that another program is willing to cross you knows it’s getting crazy.

Can’t be mad he wanted more than we thought he was worth and if a player is more worried about a few thousand bucks more then education and other factors then let him go NIL makes it to where you don’t need those types of players in your locker room. Not to mention dude didn’t want to go against elite sec talent week in and week out nor did he want to compete in a stacked young wr room at Texas no big deal best of luck walking to class in the rain every day and those state and federal taxes lol also sark has said it himself that when recruiting players know how much you’re making and if player coming in get too much more than they’re worth it causes locker room problems so they have a number and just like the nfl when you’re over you’re out. They aren’t going to have a year one wr coming in making ewers type numbers without taking a snap it doesn’t matter if they’re in state or out of state he’s also said nil numbers after you get some playing time obviously increase especially with the endorsements Texas gets.

I'm an LSU fan and I did not have an issue after the original sour feelings after the decommitment of Moore. I thought he was definitely going to Texas. This NIL number at 1.2 million is absurd for a player that has never played college football. Bronny James I understand and even Arch Manning because of the family brand but not these regular players. Shit is sad. Just like the NFL no player should get paid top dollar without proof they can play at the next level. If you aren't a starter no substantial money for you

Dakorien got about the same NIL cash offer from both, almost certainly. He got what he was worth on the market. Division Street didn't throw some totally out of line amount of money at him. ... if it makes you feel better, though, think what you want. Keep on coping.
Josh, you need to push back a little when you get goofy homers on your show.

As a Longhorn fan, I agree with you. There are much better sources for Longhorn recruiting out there who are factual regarding the information for situations. I heard he got the same offer from Texas as he did from Oregon. I think it’s purely that Oregon sold him on being different, and blazing his own trail.

What excuses? NIL is a recruiting strategy more so then you realize. Just so happens other than a Georgia commit all the others always end up with the highest bidder. It's a new part of the game.
