thank you! im reaching day 38 of being home and only going out once a week for food during lock down, im supposed to be back in seoul but got stuck in london due to corona (dont want to leave my family during this time) anyway wanted to say i've really struggled feeling any emotion or inspiration to do anything and while watching this i wrote in my notebook my goals for the new week ahead and wrote in my dairy, this video really made me feel warm and fuzzy inside, Seoul is one of my big inspirations and a place i dearly love! ill be watching your videos daily now to keep my mood light during these strange times

S Korea is a wonder for the people who live in third world. Everything is so clean and hygienic. I wish to visit it one day. And hope that two korea will reunite and become stronger together. Love from South Asia.

Agreed! I live in China and the contrast between the two countries is truly incredible. I love China but it is dirty and chaotic, whereas South Korea is clean and peaceful.

How I would really like to visit one day, in my dream country since 13 years old. Now I'm 27 years old. How I would love to live there and experience the life. ❤️🌃🇰🇷

I lived in yoido in 1996 and walked some of these same paths. And while you did not show my neighborhood, which was next to the MBC studios, I can see alot has changed. Yoido, being the business/financial district in seoul (well it was when I lived there) on the weekends it is nearly deserted, which i loved. Btw, I worked at the LG Twin Towers which is shown in the video.

@Nakamura brian Speaking as a Korean who visited Tokyo, Kyoto, Sapporo, Tsushima and Naha I can definitely say Japan's streets are beautifully clean, just like Korean counterparts. People throw trash on the streets in all parts of the world - its just a matter of which country and city spends on municipal cleaning and sanitation.
I have a lot to study, but can't stop of watching this stunning video. I think I will buy a projector and watch it in my room every night before to sleep.
I’m noticing that just about everyone is wearing a mask over there, good to see. I wish people here in the Bay Area would do the same, only about half of them are following the requirement of wearing a mask!

Lovely video. I remember walking this area in early April when cherry blossoms were in bloom - I think you did a video of that already. There's so much of Seoul we've yet to see. One of the things I'd like to do is go to a badminton game and if lucky in timing, watch the Korean Open or Korean Masters Badminton Tournament.

예전에 산업은행옆 중소기업중앙회에 파견근무할때 지금 걸으셨던 길을 한동안 걸어다녔었는데 옛날 생각이 많이 나네요. 맛집도 많고 술도 많이 마시고 그땐 갓 30이 넘은 청춘이었는데 ㅎㅎ 내용추가: 그때가 15년전 쯤인데 사실 새 빌딩 몇개 말고는 큰 차이가 없네요. 그때도 워낙 깨끗했던 여의도라 ㅎㅎ.
I very much enjoy your videos. It's great to see places I know and have walked through, especially since I don't know when I'll be able to visit Korea again. A friend of mine works in Yeouido and I've been there often. But I urge you to stop dubbing music in. It's distracting and takes away the immediacy of the experience. At least, don't add it in the middle of the video. Other than that, you're doing good work and I'm happy to subscribe.

대박이군요. 여의도에서 7년울 살고 고등학교까지 1990 년에 졸업하고 한국을 떠났는데 전혀 알아보지 못하겠네요. 지금은 New York 에 살지만 당시에도 여의도를 한국의 맨하탄이라 불렀었죠.

예전에 산업은행옆 중소기업중앙회에 파견근무할때 지금 걸으셨던 길을 한동안 걸어다녔었는데 옛날 생각이 많이 나네요. 맛집도 많고 술도 많이 마시고 그땐 갓 30이 넘은 청춘이었는데 ㅎㅎ
내용추가: 그때가 15년전 쯤인데 사실 새 빌딩 몇개 말고는 큰 차이가 없네요. 그때도 워낙 깨끗했던 여의도라 ㅎㅎ.
와 정말 추억이 새록새록 떠오르실 것 같아요! 😊

I very much enjoy your videos. It's great to see places I know and have walked through, especially since I don't know when I'll be able to visit Korea again. A friend of mine works in Yeouido and I've been there often. But I urge you to stop dubbing music in. It's distracting and takes away the immediacy of the experience. At least, don't add it in the middle of the video. Other than that, you're doing good work and I'm happy to subscribe.
