Yes you can but due to its design made for Nikon D5300 the tiltable screen doesn't move to selfie mode. It stucks in between. So you will have to set the screen first and then put the battery grip on D5600. rest everything works fine.

Hi Anubhav the battery compartment door is removable. You can pull it out by keeping it at a position of 45 degree and you can insert it in the dummy battery so that you don't misplace it the dummy battery has a slot where you can insert the battery cover.
