Thanks for sharing, however disconnecting the strut from the steering knuckle is not necessary unless you are changing the strut, or axle . The failure of the large bushing of the control arm (the one attached with three bolts) calls for the arm replacement , and it is often failing before ball joint fails
@@mkrp4 Did you also replace your upper control arms? I have a 07 Fit with a bit over 150K miles and it's been lowered most of that time and while the front end feels fine, I would like to service the whole thing, anything with a bushing in it to make it new. Also wanting to change the struts/shocks all around, possibly get different lowering springs too.
I suggest to anyone watching to just replace the entire lower control arm. Save yourself the aggravation and time.

@@jomangeee If joint has no play , but the boot has cracks, replace boot only. I changed mine back in 2017
