Yes!! I’m relaxing mine this weekend! I’ve tried rocking this natural hair for a few years and I’m over it. I feel like my hair was far more healthier when it was relaxed
Chilllllleeeeee, folks have a million opinions about OUR hair, but no one is going to put up with our hair! I grew tired of being natural in October 2020, after 7 whole years. My 3C hair tangles so easily! Detangling it took about 1.5-2 hours and my head was always sore! I didn't want to go back fully into relaxing, so I decided to Tex-Lax instead. I really wish that I had done it sooner!! It's the perfect in-between point for me! I only used a 50/50 mix of relaxer/leave-in conditioner. I still have my curls. Overall, it loosened my curls to a 3A/3B mix when wet, but it shrinks to normal when dry. Most of all, detangling isn't a nightmare anymore!! Flat ironing is a much easier process, too. I decided that I'll only do it about 2-3 times a year, depending on manageability.
I agree with you, it is hard to keep up with natural hair. I'm with I was trying to decide to relax my hair it's been a year 😢. I going to relax my hair today 😊. I am busy mom
Thanks 🙏. I’m gonna perm my hair. My hair has been through Dredlocs, cut off 6 yrs later, and now got nice length of natural hair. Damn! My menopause sweat 😓 make my natural harder to deal with 😮😮😮!!! Perm is calling me 😂😂😂😂
When I became natural in 2009, my entire family followed suit. Now, 13 years later, my mom and sister are getting a relaxer. I’m all for it. You gotta do what is best for you. I will probably never relax my hair again because my hair is fine and relaxing will make it look even finer. My sister would do twists on freshly washed hair when she was relaxed before and it would come out cute when it dried and she untwisted it. Just to avoid heat.
Nothing a roller brush won't fix! I have fine hair an when I tell you a roller brush with a blow dryer will do wonders in put much volume in your hair! Use the roller brush while drying you hair an watch the magic happen!
I’ve been natural for 5 years now it’s hard especially as a mom I keep braiding it up the whole time and I’m over it I woke and said the same thing I’m ready to go back to relax
I love how full and bouncy it looks even without a flat iron. Wanna relax mine too but my hair is too darn dense and thick to manage on my own. Hairdressers are gonna probably comb the relaxer thru smb
I wish people understood that we love our hair. It’s just it takes sooo much time to do our hair every day!
I love it! Natural hair has become so exhausting, I understand why so many are making the switch back to relaxed hair.
Honestily I just don't like combing my hair and dealing with the tangles but my hair will fall right out with a perm.
I swear I’m thinking about relaxing my hair this month . Natural hair hasn’t been kind to me lol
Yess! Same
That’s it! I just needed a confirmation. I’ve been natural for well over 10 years and it’s a trend thing. I’m relaxing my hair this year!!!

How often do you touch it up ? Every 3 months ? & only apply it to the roots after switching over correct ?
I haven’t had to touch it up yet but I plan on doing it once every 6 months. I will only do the roots, yes
I’m considering relaxing mine too.
