Im rolling my into a log and then going to slice it. ill let you know how it comes out. I also had no syrup so i am trying 1/4 a cup of heavy cream and added 1 extra egg.
+Jana Colley walnut flour? can you believe that I've never used it? I've used hazelnut flour, pecan flour, peanut flour, almond flour, coconut flour, protein powder, oat fiber, inulin, and psyllium fiber, but never walnut flour! lol! I'd say try it!! And then let me know! lol!
Hi, thank you for you video. I realy want to try these as we have to count carbs. However I was checking the carb value of oat fibre and on the back of the pack it states that the serving size is 1 tsp and the carb in this is 3gms. Is this the same as yours?
+sblouse so....99.9% of the time I count total carbs. Oat fiber has been a tremendous blessing because it is insoluble fiber. It doesn't raise my bg and is wonderful (for me) for lowering the carb count in baked goods. I have been distrustful of net carb counts and I use total carb counts for coconut flour and almond flour and everything else, but oat fiber. I guess I'm playing favorites, but it's just been wonderful for me. hope you have a good experience with it if you try it. FWIW, I haven't had anyone tell me they had problems with it impacting BG.
I followed the recipe and found that the "dough" does not hold well together. I followed the recipe. I managed to get the cookies on the baking pan. Next time I'm going to increase the amount of butter by 2 tablespoons. Next I will add 2 eggs instead of one. I'll see which one works better. I was surprised that the original recipe cookie held together when I ate them. No falling apart on me.
not a clue!! it depends on how you count the fiber and the sugar alcohols and wjat size your cookies are. I wish I could give you a more definite answer
I love that your whole family helps out. It's awesome that the kids learn how to eat at a young age.
+Tina Pennington Thank you!

I wish you and your Family happy chrismas end a happy new year
i was thinking about mixing this up today. do you think the dough would freeze okay as I don't have time to roll them out today.
Can one omit the sukrin syrup, and if so what should I substitute it with for moisture?
Where do you get your Sukrin at, Kristie? Love these recipes! Thanks!
Kristie, do you think you could sub the almond/hazelnut flour with walnut flour? I have almond flour but am dying for a reason to use the walnut four!

How much of the dark Sukrin syrup? Thanks!
Do you have a list of all the different items you can't find in a store?
I wonder Sweetie, If you realized that you said 1 cup for oat fiber and it reads 3/4 cup. Also you said 7 tablespoons of butter but reads 6?
lol! trust what is written! I'm terrible with changing recipes!
