- Celebrity jeweler Johnny Dang shares last moments with TakeOff just hours before shooting
Migos rapper TakeOff made a stop at Johnny Dang & Co. Fine Custom Jewelry just hours before he was shot to death outside of a bowling alley in downtown Houston.
Johnny Dang said both TakeOff and Quavo came in to have some pieces cleaned and look at some items.
"I was excited because we stayed open late because that’s convenient, I always take care of them,” said business owner Johnny Dang.

In 2017 I was the biggest Migos fan and Takeoff was my favorite in the group. I was 29 and he was 19. I used to think he was the coolest 19 year old on the planet lol
I went to their concert in Detroit and my ex wife and I were able make it to the front center of the stage while they were performing. She knew how much I liked Takeoff so she made it a point to reach out to him and he reached down and touched her hand and gave me a head nod and my ex wife turned around and looked at me like, "yea he just touched me." LOL
I found out my ex wife passed away from a car accident last year so now they're both dead
It makes me understand how fragile life is.

I'm from Houston, Texas, and live here. What's sad is the many people who know who the shooter was and tell everything else to the point of correcting the media on all the rumors they say are wrong because they were there few feet from Take Off who was in his own world as he usually was. They are so vested in correcting the rumors of what was said but no one will come clean in who the shooter or shooters were. That is what's sad. Take Off and his family deserve to know. Quavo I believe know who as well as he was the one who went back and forth with whomever the person was he disagreed with. Then 10 or 11 shots were fired in the direction it seems where Take Off was standing. Quavo needs to open his mouth. For me Quavo nor Take Off should have never been there all together. When you work hard to get on a certain level you can’t go back and hang out in any matter with those of that nature any longer. Yes break bread mingle the such. But the party was over he and Take Off should have had entourage with the sense that it was time to leave the private party which was over and high tail it to their cars and out of there. Quavo was out of order and I don’t blame him for the shooting, but I blame him for his lack thereof to think it’s was ok to respond with talk back and forth with those who he thought was ok to do so putting himself and Take Off in harms way to be killed. Some of those interviews I’ve seen on tik tok of many saying it was Take Off’s time to go was mumbling a bunch of foolishness. God does not support violence of this nature. Let’s first be clear about that. He also never stated anything in His word of how any of us will die. From that I can say that it wasn’t God who orchestrated Take Off to be killed by gunfire. The devil always has to get permission to mess with His own. Just as Job, God gave the devil permission to tempt Job. In that God told Satan yes he could tempt him but you can’t harm his soul. Satan saw Take Off being as he always is laid back. But his uncle Quavo in argument with the shooter and shooters. It had to be a tough decision for Satan as Take Off was the innocent one and in some sense so was Quavo. The devil is crafty he always had tricky ways about him. So he sets the stage but he never ask God to tempt Quavo so he uses that against Quavo his contender got pissed as Quavo belittled him in some way. The contender and his entourage start shooting in the air and Take Off the innocent one is hit 3 times and dies on the scene. It was not Take Off’s time to go. He got caught up in his uncle Quavo’s mouthiest with the contender and his imps, that led to
his death. It seems Take Off who was not involved in their mess not paying that much attention ran toward the shots being fired or the shooters were shooting in the air toward his direction. But all of those who were there ran and many of them know who did it but won’t open their mouths because of the stigma to not snitch. Just foolish! I’m angered by all of those who ran didn’t talk to police. And the two who did go to police still tap danced around telling the police who were involved. I’m so disturbed once again another death of a rapper. People always hollering RIP after the death but never learn to LIP ( live in peace) while alive. I’m praying HPD will get these perpetrators asap! Houston Harris Co is not ever to be played with. They are highly trained and do not back down over solving murders and prosecution of the guilty ones. I’ve heard rumors of who the one shooter is and their entourage. I pray they bring them all in and expose them for who they really are.
