  • Sleeping at 9pm to wake up at 5am. Sleeping earlier really helps when you need to wake up earlier! If you're wondering how to sleep earlier and be an early riser: when you wake up at 5am more consistently, it's easier to fall asleep at 9pm. My early night time routine consists of cooking healthy meals and relaxing. I hope this night time routine helps you sleep earlier so you can wake up earlier easily!       Yeah. My teacher always asks that type of questions. She almost always asks, " I wake up early to go to school. Do YOU wake up early to go to school?"

      My grandma teases me for going to bed so early LOL she has to stay up to watch the 10pm news so doesn't go to bed until almost 11. Here I am some nights at 7 wondering if it's too early to go to sleep :p

      Here in my place is worst! We literally use 3 - 4 sweaters, two warm pajamas, two socks, a warm hat and two to three blankets while sleeping! Lol! It's so chilly!

      I literally take 3 hours to get to sleep. And then my dog decides it would be a good idea to wake me up at 2am only to go and bark outside and annoy my neighbours

    It's never easy trying to get over to sleep at 9pm. Luckily I've been getting into a routine of 11pm and getting up at 5am which sort of works! Thanks Maya

      I’m not Maya, but I have some friends who understand that I sleep at 9, so we’d usually meet up at 7 to hang out a little if it’s a weekday. Other than that, I also make exceptions on weekends to have a life :’) it’s hard, but the habit is definitely worth it.

      It's just part of being an adult, you gotta find your routine. My friends and I will meet up after work and grab dinner if we want to hang out during the week. Usually when you work those standard daytime hours M-F(and especially if you're a teacher dealing with a bunch of kids all day and are working WAY more than just standard hours...) you usually aren't doing a lot of going out at night during the week lol In reality, most people I know don't just go out a lot during the week. Your priorities change a lot as a working adult...as does your energy level...and budget. So this is definitely more of a realistic night routine.
      Plus, there's always Friday nights/weekends.

    Reading in bed at night is the best way to fall asleep! My eyes get so heavy, I often fall asleep with the book still in my hands. :)

    You remind me so much of myself before I had kids. Let me say that these healthy habits at night and morning give you such an advantage when you do have kids! Granted things look way different and you may not have time to do all of these things, but as you find your new normal you start to add these habits back in and it fills your cup so you can be a better mom! Thank you for making videos to inspire others to practice health physically and spiritually!

    Recently I’ve been waking up at 5am aiming to at least be in bed or asleep by 9 but 10 at the latest. Doing this I’ve actually been more relaxed throughout the day I feel more accomplished and positive. I even wake up and WANT to workout before always forced workouts. my diet also has even changed just by waking up early, more healthy. It’s been a great change.

    Subscribed when you mentioned your faith so openly. I have to wake up at 4:30 for work. I have two young children so our evenings look a little different but I can definitely sleep at 9:30 but a lot of nights I stay up till 10:30-11 just on my phone. This video was definitely a good reminder that I need to choose to sleep earlier (emphasis on “choose”).

    I consider sleeping 5 hours a lot. That’s crazy that you sleep for 8. That’s really good. ✊🏽

    Yes I think “sleeping at 9 to wake up 5” is the key to be early riser. I should follow what you do to wake up early and be more productive:) nice video!

    All the different comments I wanted to put in one:
    1. This video is so calming! You always put me in a good mood, maybe I should watch you're vids before bed so I can think of positive things before sleep!
    2. How do you fall asleep in 10 mins? I think I take at least 30 every night.
    3. I wish I could sleep in pitch black cuz I know it's good for you, but I hallucinate! I really hope hallucinating doesn't follow me into adulthood, cuz it's so annoying to have to do certain things because of it!
    4. I hope everyone has a good day/night!

      Kiley's Life yeah, I workout 2-4 hrs a day so, 9hrs of sleep is perrrrfect. Lol, I go to bed at 10 and wake up at 7. I fall asleep in 5-10 min. 🤣

      Disha Agarwal tire yourself out, like workout, don’t go on electronics before bed, avoid caffeine at all costs, if needed talk to your doctor, face yourself into a consistent sleep schedule, ex. Wake up: 6am Sleep: 10pm, get your body in a consistent habit and it will know when it needs to shut down so you can fall asleep easily.
