I always felt most bad for Von Kaiser and TD Don
TD Don doesn't seem physically hurt but mentally. When he lost to contender his gf Carmen probably left him from the reaction he had in TD. His TD appearance was a last attempt to get back Carmen but he loses yet again. Not only that after the fight, his last memory of her began to die and wither.
Von Kaiser was obviously not mentally well, in his contender opening he seems disconnected and disoriented. His defeat animation in both TD and contender looks like he's suffering PTSD. In his TD defeat animation it seems like he's *really* shaken, as if when he tried to redeem himself he had made those memories come back more clear and worse.
I also feel bad for TD Disco Kid, King Hippo, and TD Bear Hugger
Disco Kid in contender at least tries to keep his smile, in TD he's doesn't even smile, he seems completely defeated
King Hippo in both seems scared and confused, he couldn't comprehend everything that happened.
And TD Bear Hugger is literally sobbing. I'm not sure why but the man is in actual tears.

I guess he couldn't find him or even though he found his friend, that poor little thing might got hurt after falling from that height to the ground. ;(

I can imagine him later the day of the fight going back into the empty arena at night while calling out the squirrels name trying to look for him, unfortunately, he found out that boxing crowds are very, very unaware of what they are stepping on

For example in one save file I have, Mr Sandman of Contender was practically intact and in another one when I defeated it with star Punches his face looked damaged

Gotta say, I gained a newfound respect for Aran. He may have been brutally savaged and beaten to a pulp, but he looks more than ready for another fight. He's a real warrior for sure.

Great Tiger's defeat animation (which looks to be pretty much the same for both Contender and TD) is a little sad when you consider his greatest strength was his magical concentration. He looks so confused it's almost as if he's been permanently stunned out of the magic that got him as far as it did.
Edit: I realize he isn't cross-eyed in his Title Defense animation; he's looking up at his turban's crystal, as if waiting for it to tell him what he should do next, but there's no answer.

Im quite worried for Don Flamenco.
When he lost in contender, he was very sad after his girlfriend, "Carmen" left Don Flamenco, and went to hook up to another guy. Then Don was enraged, giving it another try and risking everything for the women. Then he unfortunatley lost, then the women don't like him no more (I think) and the black rose is the only memory of Carmen.

Part of me would've loved to see a sequel to Punch Out Wii with all the characters from this game returning, as well as the majority of the Punch Out cast returning in one large game. I would love to see how they would look like after Little Mac bested them in the ring.
