It's awesome seeing the Bibbster rolling man. It's been a long time coming thats for sure. Would have been sweet to see the Goose rolling around also. I remember watching you cut the fox up the Bibbster was born from in your old 2 bay garage. Love the channel, keep up the awesome work.
Have waited so long to see this car moving under its own power. I sounds SOOO good too. Next, I want to see you driving it in a sporty fashion and watch you check out your chassis and suspension designs with some 'load' factored in. I'm hoping it holds up and won't bend or break anywhere. It's looking better all the time.
I started watching your channel just before you started the bibster and it has been many years but so worth the wait!!!!

Great seeing you at Foxtoberfest! Bibbster is amazing, cant wait to see that one on the road. Also, I'm loving the "COVID COUPE". Diggin' that build like crazy! Wanting to do a similar one as well, as I fell in love with the four eye coupes over the weekend myself!

It was discussed in the early days of the build. I believe it’s a tribute to a good friend of his who had passed away.
Named after a buddy whos last name was Bibb
People are stuck in their ways about things and dont want to accept things change. Old school wheels do look good on some cars when they fit the rest of the build, but that thing needs those nice big wheels it fits it well.

Put a centrifuge blower on your stick street car it is so much more fun on the street rather than that pain in the ass turbo heat stuff a little tap on the gas and you can blow the tires off anytime anywhere any gear and everything is so much more simple you can change the spark plugs without having to touch couplers
I prefer turbos....they can also do all that you mentioned
@@Thefabforums Yeah but with all that extra piping you lose the wicked exhaust sound you greatly increase the heat production there’s just so much more involved in them but I get it yeah each to our own I just know my buddies with turbos are constantly messing with them and I haven’t had to touch the blower in my car in 10 years except to replace the bottom idler pulley it’s a Paxton novi 2000, 1000+ horsepower no problem and so far maintenance free and 40,000 k street use. But I do believe put in your car what you like the best and you will love your car the best and I love never having to say “oh it fell out of boost” or “ my boost controller is not working“
Did you ever get the hydraulics figured out? I'm about to get the 4 solenoid version of that vevor pump you had a while back. I just want front and rear ride height with single action cylinders (gravity bleed).

Great to see it on the road. What display are you using for the gauges?
You know what I always thought would be sick on a slammed hotrod build where you can almost elbow the back tire? Doing 405/25R24s on 24x14 at the rear, and pairing that with a 285/35R22 on a 22x9.5 on the front. Maybe even a 21 if you can find them, lol, though I think a 20 would be too small with the 24, but IDK it could look good.
If anyone dared to do it.
For the Covid Coupe, I would say build a race car. Pull every ounce of weight out of it. Go crazy on weight reduction. Strip all the paint and primer it black. Leave the holes and dents. Full cage. The heat shield and sound-deadening material are a cool look. But otherwise, keep the interior stripped down to the primer. Maybe bed liner to seal up the paint? 4 Link the rear. A-arms and coil overs in the front. Giant Brembos or Wilwoods. Build an engine that will rip the ass end out of the earth. 5 speed. Go nuts on all the lines. Make them ridiculously clean. Electrical, no dips and dives. Bare but go to the moon with how clean the installation is. Make the engine compartment a work of art. That's my dream ride always...
Didn’t know there were wheel haters. Those are my FAVORITE wheels on that car….and I would have them on my car if I could afford things like that once again…..economy sucks😣
The wheels look perfect on the car. Fits the modern reinterpretation of the hot rod to a T. This car deserves to be showcased on Jay Leno's garage, definitely!

I hope you are going to finish a body on that thing. It's nothing really special as it it is. Not being critical but saying the truth. There's a million different cars out there with a bit of style. Don't be like bad chad. (he creates crap) Make this car look good. Good luck with finishing it.

This is not a traditional hot rod, it is totally fine if it doesn't have traditional wheels...and I am a traditional hot rodder. Things got to move on. Don't listen to the traditionalists on every detail when building the future. Keep on doing your own thing. This is a fantastic build with fantastic wheels :)

I think the back end is so weird looking. I understand it though, looks like a Ford coupe rumble seat or something... personally think it would look so much better with a fox hatch or notch style. But hey, your car, you built it. Amazing work regardless.
I think the wheels are great. They look like stiletto knives. Hey this is your vision don't let anyone tell you how it should look.

I like the centerline convos on the new/old 4 eye.I think a wheel like that in raw finish would look so good on bibbster.i know brake size would be an issue on a wheel like that.Great video, enjoyed seeing you get to bring your hard work and passion out to the publics eye!

We spoke a few times right about when you were deciding to build a new home and shop instead of renting space.
Bibster is Amazing.
As an old man with a personal body/fab shop, i hope you wont mind me saying: I really miss the content, The "its Friday Fool" series and- all the wonderful ideas you inspired in me and, got me to try. Im glad things are well for you. Not to sound mushy man, but really do miss your content. You never BS us, you never went for "ratings/clicks" , but, real guy doing real stuff and, sheesh man, i would not be TIg welding at 66 years old if not for you- seriously.
Fighting cancer last year, a major emergency lung surgery, 21 days in icu and, revisited old content and, as soon as i was allowed out of the house, could not do much but- sit at my bench and practice tig . So- its always good to see some content from you.

Absolutely love the car but it seriously needs foxbody headlights and taillights incorporated into it if you want people to instantly recognize that it’s a fox
Yeah I dont want people to instantly recognize it as a fox. I plan to leave just enough hints for the die hards to pick up on it

This shouldn't be taken as a negative but the more I watch the bibster I see Ford's version of the Plymouth prowler but way better that was hilarious those guys didn't know what they were looking at but it must feel really good to see something you built having grown men losing there mind
That may be because the Prowler was Plymouths modern version of the Ford Model A....but yeah hot rods look like hot rods
