Shaking can also be from being Pre-diabetic. Which can usually be maintained by eating smaller meals more often. Balanced little meals, protein, fruit and vegetables. When I was a Nursing Assistant, I carried in my car an ice cooler with healthy snacks in it. Just a thought. Sometimes some little changes can make all the difference in the world and can keep your energy level high and less shaking. Love your videos! Take care.❤️🙏
That box that said “pave” is actually “pah-vay”. It’s French, and refers to stones set close together (like it was paved with stones).

I used to get shaky and realized I needed to bring some protein with me to eat. If I had anything even slightly sweet in the morning, my blood sugar would plummet downward and I would be incredibly shaky. I had hypoglycemia attacks. So not fun.
Even just a spoonful of peanut butter, or handful of nuts can help the shakiness.
If the brass trinket box with the jeweled bird on top really is Pave’ (paw-vay). “Meaning = to cover so closely with precious stones that no metal shows.” That’s a nice find. 👍🏻

Can a person be triggered in a warm fuzzy way? Right after you were looking in the case at the witch painting, and the clock began that Westminster chime, I was instantly transported to my grandma’s house and I was 6 years old. That chime was exactly the same as her mantle clock. My brother has it now, and he says he finally got the chime working again.
Oh my gosh, so was I!! My grandmother had the same clock but she put it on her antique sewing machine because she didn't have a mantle. I even finished the song in my head and chimed to the hour. Huge nostalgia moment. Makes me want to find myself a clock like that.

I just love when you shop at antique stores! They are much quieter & seem to have as good of prices as Goodwill, if not better. I really enjoy learning about what you buy & look at & since there’s more to see at antique stores, there’s more to learn about😊 Anyway, I think I made my point (in a long winded way) 😊. That’s what I’m hoping! It seems to be good quality, but I know the Chinese vases can come pretty close.
The blue fancy lady from Boyds is a glass company from Cambridge Ohio. They made only figures. The lines surrounding the B marks how many years in business. I believe each line is for every five years. I used to live down the street and we would play in the glass slag pieces and pick out pretty pieces. My grandmother collected the ladies, even though she worked at Cambridge Glass. Back then Cambridge glass was like Libby glass is now, everyday use.
Jocelyn, I used to shake like you too. I was diagnosed with HYPERTHYROIDISM. The easiest way to self diagnose it is to place a piece of paper over your outstretched hand palm down. If while you are holding your arm out extended in front of you, the piece of paper is shaking visibly you need to go see an Endocrinologist and get your TSH test done.

The nodders are very interesting. They are very like Dresden or Meissen pieces in the chinoiserie style. Perhaps dating to the very late 19th or early 20th century. A very nice find. If they were 18th century, their value would be very high.

The opening two figures. Those qualify as nodders even though it’s their hands instead of their heads moving. They are old bisque and 48 for both is a deal.

My husband had "shaking hands" it can be caused by energy drinks, matcha tea, and coffee. Some people have sensitivity to caffeine. If you cut out caffeine, your body will make its own natural energy. Another great alternative to caffeine is juicing. There are some great juicing machines on the market, just as with anything moderation is key. With juicing, you have to watch the sugar content. Ps. Love your videos. 😊

I tried resisting giving health advice in the comments, but you keep mentioning the shakes ..
Did you have a simple carb loaded breakfast? Bread, pastries, cereal, that kind of thing? And sugar or syrup in your coffee?
I imagine you have hypoglycemia, and your blood sugar is crashing. It is fixable, I know for a fact because I fixed mine. It could also be causing or at least contributing to, your anxiety, no joke!
I usually only get the shakes if I've eaten white bread or the equivalent, such as a croissant - it causes your blood sugar to spike and then drop quickly. Maybe try wholemeal bread or muesli to see if that helps.
I'm diabetic and on 3 meds and insulin. Not only white bread anything white such as taters and rice. Sugar spikes are very dangerous.

Does systemic lupus run in your family? My mom had it and was very shakey at times.. they kept mis-diagnosing her bc the only SURE way to test is to do a muscle biopsy during a flare 😞 hope everything is okay!!

If you are more than shaky….like jittery it could be your thyroid. Doctor can check you tsh level which is a standard test but I’d ask for a t4free test..it’s more in depth. I was jittery and I was hyperthyroid…took a pill a day

I believe insulin resistance can cause shakiness as well. When i eat low carb, my shakiness goes away almost completely.
Shakiness can be caused by low blood sugar. Are eating a lot of carbs and not much protein? If you feel better after eating or drinking something sugary, it might be that your blood sugar is low. Try to take in 30 grams of protein 3 times a day. There are shakes, powder, or protein bars to help meet that goal. Best to talk with your doctor.
