No, it is not true! There are no fees. The City has a big problem with the homeless. It is not that they are hungry but that they are well cared for and therefore are attracting friends from all over to our city. We have spent millions providing service. We need to control the pop ups because they disrupt the normal distribution of meals. The unsheltered are well fed in Columbia. We are asking them to use a central church at no charge so that we can control the feedings.

Well, there it is. If they act appropriately, then they don't deserve a single word of praise for doing their job. If they don't, then the slew of emails and phone calls expressing discontent will hopefully have the desired effect of making them either change their minds, or quit their jobs.
