You know, when we choose one of the characters and we complete the 3 mountains in 1st place, does something happen afterwards? Like telling about that character's story or something like that? Or do you just win and that's it?
I say this because there are fighting games, for example Tekken, where you choose a character, you win all the events and then they tell you a little bit about that character, his story, what he did afterwards and all that.

iirc this game only gave you lore in:
-prebaked cutscenes post-race, where your rival challenges you to Outback challenges
-the radio DJ giving you facts in between songs
There was no like, ending or resolution that focused on any one character. Just a generalized "you beat the mountain / all competitions!"
