I've also noted that the wax sticks like the molotow scrawl work MUCH better in hotter climates, try warming the stick up somehow and see how it does for the opacity.
Thats interesting. It makes sense that wax is more tempermatal to different temperatures. And yes, my testing is done where I live, where it is currently well below freezing with plenty of snow on the ground lol. Maybe a warmer test is in order

Quick little tip for the markal streakers. When you first get them they will have a hardened shell of paint around them. You gotta peel it down a little bit till you get to the soft buttery paint on the inside. This makes them write 10x smoother and you can also varie the amount of pressure you use to add cool effects and such. Note that markals are usually pretty shit in the winter, but are soooo nice in the summer!
You should also try the artprimo solid and the sharpie meanstreak you can buy at homedepot

The sharpies meanstesk in white and yellow are the best graff streaks by far the meanstreak yellow is better then the sakura one

I appreciate the honest reviews, but you forgot the Art Primo solids, which are comparable to Sakura's and they are about an inch longer for the same price.

Junobo scrawlers not on the market anymore they got discontinued :(
And I got one of the Krink solids and it was an instant regret they aren't much better than Sakuras and they are just wayyyyy to overpriced. Probably costs them 2 dollars to make one of the Krink ones.

If you have good hand Styles and control of the marker you could put Curves in your lines with any marker..... get your hand style up bro #nohandstyles

Markals can be good depending on where you live. I live in northern California it gets pretty hot here in the summer. After being in my pocket for a while they will write on super smooth surfaces such as stop signs e.t.c.
Yeah the markals are still my go to solid sticks. they are even less sticky than sakura in good heat imo
What would be good for rainy days and winter like in the Pacific Northwest?.

Thanks for the review, just a small note, you should definitely be reading and following the manufacturer's instructions for each product, especially for a review since it isn't really fair to judge a product when using it not exactly as intended. For this example I'm sure it isn't a huge effect, but the manufacture's instructions for Markal markers I've used, say that you're actually supposed to wipe off the dry tip of the paint stick to uncover the softer smother inside before you start writing. The solid paint on the outside naturally dries/cures over time into a kind of shell, but underneath is a more fluid substance. In my experience if you don't then flakes & chunks of dried paint can fly off at random times and potentially stick where you don't want them.
I just grind the wax tip off before writing with it, which I obviously don't wanna do on cam and waste everyone's time though
There are also Wax markers by hand mixed on the market.
4:10 the markall B writes on wet surfaces very very well. Sakura does not, can't say anything for the others though as I havent used them.

Can someone please help me . I’m looking for this marker I bought in the mid 2000s from OTR. It was a large solid type crayon maybe pastel marker , came in black . It had a twist bottom like the solid markers . The twist function was orange
You most definitely aren’t stuck with straight lines with those like he says he just doesn’t know how to use them yet and doesn’t realize there’s a scab he has to take off to get to the soft center...

Its good but you can always make your own. For the price of one you can get three art primo solids or sakuras and split them yourself and you'll get three instead of one!

Fuck yesses. Streakers are my go-to medium, so this video is on point for me.
Edding has now a line of solid industrial markers, very comparable to the Sakura markers.
Why push flat? A tilted sakura at an angle can write on anything...tip it out!!

I've actually never got the chance to use it. Sin e I'm in Canada the US dollar is wayyyy expensive so I rarely buy anything from the US graff stores. Everything g I've heard about the AP solids though is super positive ao I think they must be pretty top class

6:38 sciz your killing me you forgot to remove the skin on the top of the markal thats why its harder if you remove that skin you immediately notice that its softer not as soft as the krink, sakura, ap streaker but softer that with the skin on ugh...why!??!?
I removed it, I just didn't show that on cam cause who wants to waste time seeing skin be removed. As I've said, writing on cardboard isn't ideal in the first place, as it is a squishy surface and the -5 Celsius weather at the time doesn't exactly give you the nice buttery feel that you would be on a hot summer day in the train yard. I think at some point in the video you can actually see where I ground the martial down to remove the skin

Please stop buying stuff.... but if you do, then google "animal marking crayon", you will find the EXACT thing that molotow copied... its even possible they just buy those wax mzrker from RaideX or Kerbl brand and JUST do another packaging, they cost less than 1euros each. Enjoy and please always to DIY instead of pending your money and financing graffiti industry.
There's been plenty of livestock markers around for a long long time, yes. And in case it wasn't clear, I have some of these markers regularly in my arsenal and buy one of the ones that I don't for the review purposes because there is a demand for the reviews and a demand in-kind for the products of this industry. DIY is great especially if it's what you like to do! But I don't see the point in having a problem with companies making graff products that support the graff industry as well. I would say it just helps graffiti writers so their job. DIY is always good though especially on a budget!
