50s J-45 sounds amazing.
Yeah the plainest of the bunch was the winner for me.
I like Hummingbird sound.
My uncle has a SJ-200, man that thing is as loud as a piano. Love it.
For those who dont know. The 50s J45 sounds amazing so does the Hummingbird, however the champion by far is the SJ 200, the sound it produces is amazing.
The SJ-200 price tag is the champion by far as well. The SJ definitely has its own tone going but my ears like the J-45 for best overall sound and tone execution. I own a 2022 J-50 so I am partial to the J-45.🎶
Until it played the chords I would have agreed.
First one a little crisp, second sounds with a good warm feel. I like the second but something about the third one, rich and warm.
The third one’s UNbalanced towards the trebles... .

50s J-45 has it. That guitar is rich, deep, clear, and bright and blows my mind honestly in how the lows are so deep yet crisp and the highs are so bright and not thin….. amazing guitar.
Every truly exceptional acoustic I have ever played has been a Gibson. So much soul.
SJ 200 sounds metallic
That's why it's my favorite one I love the "more agressive yet still melodic" sound
The maple back and sides brings transparency

it 's ringing, more high frequencies, but SJ-200 sounds more voluminous ("huge"). Maybe it's all about the guitar body (size)

Sj is my prefered one following the 45 but not by lesser sound just by difference of tones

All three are fantastic. To me, the J45 (of which I own a version personally so I have quite a bit of experience with) is the brightest, but still has a nice full bodied sound. The hummingbird is just wonderfully full, taking the best of the J45 and J200 and meshing them. The J200 has amazing projection and bass. I absolutely love all three. Gibson is a wonderful guitar company.

All three are awesome. The j45 is crisp and clear the hummingbird warmer more mids the sj200 was like wow when strumming full chords full and warm sound stands on it's own . If I had to choose I believe the j45 would suit me.

SJ 200 just sounds massive! I can't say any one of these guitars is best, but they do all bring something unique to the table.

J-45 is the deepest
Hummingbird is bright
SJ-200 is brighter
My personal preference would probably be hummingbird out of these 3.

Black should be a standard finish option for every acoustic. Every time I see a black guitar I think I need it, even though the J-45 is the only one of the three that I already own. 🤔

2nd...good middle but nothing special.
