Great video buddy and am glad that you put the effort into making the videos, I hope you and your family have a fantastic Christmas and the future is bright for the new year all the best buddy 👍🏼👍🏼
Easily one of my favourite channels! I always learn something from your videos! I was thinking it would be cool to have one with a flat back to reach into the corner of half-blind dovetails! The only difference is you'd have to grind the side bevels quite a bit. Great video man!
@@Darren_Barclay Keep it up brother! I remember seeing the first video of you doing the surface plates, and I thought, this guy is off his rocker! 😂But by the end of the video, it all made sense haha
@@WobblycogsUk am glad you enjoy the content and find it motivating, I know it can be hard to find motivation to build things. Glad to have been some help. Am sure there’s plenty projects on the channel you can have a go at.
Probably for speed and simplicity when using it. You can cut each side of a V without thinking about which way around your chisel is or having to turn it.

Great job, I find your videos really motivate me to get back into the shop and just try something out.

@@Darren_Barclay 🙂Thanks, I have a list of projects as long as my arm, I really should get back to filming them too. Have a great Christmas.
40 hrc for a chisel? I would've thought 55ish. Seems to work fine. Lovely unique look with the remaining triangles.
I dont understand why you put a bevel on both sides
@@garrypalmer5014 they work beautifully for cutting down angles like I showed you.
