i just switched to left hand aiming bc im left handed and i noticed that my aim from my right (which was honestly pretty average in the aim community) still translated almost instantly, and i wasnt sure if it was because i was left handed, or if thats just the way aiming works psychologically. seems like the answer is it was cuz im left handed.. also if anyone else was liek me and used their right hand to aim even though youre left handed, honestly i think its worth switching if u want to have the best aim possible for you. just know u need to set aside a day or two to simply your right hand for movement, like he said thats definitely the hardest part of switching
@@FUall19956 you probably just grew comfortable with it, I mean nothing is comfortable when you first do it. also I ended up switching back to using right hand to aim cuz learning movement all over again was too annoying
Yeah, I think we underestimate how trained our left hands are at keyboard movement. I have about 2k hours in Apex and have practiced a lot of the advanced movement tech for years now with just my left hand. If I switched my right hand would only be able to move around, jump, and slide a bit, making me like 80% worse at the game even if my left hand could aim exactly the same.
I am a lefty yet using a mouse with my left hand never crossed my mind. It feels so wrong and completely out of touch even just moving around on the desktop. And frankly, it limits your mouse choices quite a lot. Its certainly one way to quit mouse addiction tho. Overall, i am happy. 1) I can use more mice, 2) i can train my right hand and actually use it in real life. 90% of the people i've met are handicapped in a sense where they barely use their left hand whatsoever let alone eat, work or write with it. And in physical jobs they often need a rest day after a heavy day due to overload. Its pretty ridiculous that we're born with 2 hands yet people barely use one of the two.
I am left-handed as well but never used a mouse with it before this video. And I completely agree, right handed mouse usage is definitely the way to go. I trained my right hand for a while as well for normal stuff (brushing teeth, grabbing stuff, opening jars, peeing, etc.) to see if it would help my aim. (It didn't.) Now I'm pretty competent with both hands though 🗿
im a lefty aiming with my right hand (and about to hit diamond in the voltaic benchmarks) ive always been wondering how this affects my progress since i have around 480h of kovaaks ive always felt like im progressing incredibly slow tho there is a lot more to my slow progress first of all prior to starting to aim train ive only had around 400h of fps expierence over the course of 4-5 years i also aim trained on and off for a long ass time and started out with a really bad setup
I was in the same boat. I spent years trying to switch to left handed just to get frustrated and switch back. About 3 weeks ago I found a method that worked. Aim train and play left handed until I get frustrated then switch to roller (i play apex 6k hours right handed). It took about 2 weeks for me to stop being a complete and total bot. I still fat finger stuff with my right hand that gets me killed but FAR less often. I'm also already breaking right handed records I set on Kovaaks. I was always unsure whether my aim would be better left handed (due to so many people saying it wouldn't matter) but after only 3 weeks my left hand has as good of aim or better than my right hand which has 6k hours of training in game, and around 400 hours in kovaaks
@@johnfinch621I was always pretty garbage at games and it always felt off somehow. I'm right handed and two days ago I started left handed and ... it felt more enjoyable. I am still hot garbage but gaming felt significantly more immersive, enjoyable? With my right hand I just didn't enjoy looking around or behind me which was detrimental in shooters. Although still crap as I might be, I've been playing some bf1 and mordhau and gotten a few lucky kills which were rather unexpected. Most of them time I just stand there with a bow and aim for half an hour buuut I did somehow gotten super long range kills randomly and accidentally messing my mouse movement up so that I throw my aim way off and somehow get a critical hit out of confusion on how to move properly.

I'm left handed but it just feels wrong, I never found using my right hand to aim uncomfortable, it's always just felt natural

@@Pipiezi Oh, Dope!
0:07 where you found that mode?
It's a new mode in Aimbeast called Arena, released yesterday
I typed this with my left hand 🤔
Solid
how do i improve my left hand aim put in mind my left hand is lazy dont like to move alot like i dont drag it around the whole mousepad like you do
You gotta force it and start off with easy scens. You could also start doing everyday tasks with your left hand to increase your rate of improvement.
@@Pipiezi will try it
@@Pipiezi 1 year later im now starting to improve very fast
Do it on a controller next
