Montana creek used to have 40 lbs plus kings in there back in 90’s. I stopped going in 01 kings stopped coming down by mouth. There was a huge hole and the sand and rocks filled it up in 2000. I miss those days.

Wow, we have done quite a bit of fishing at the mouth last year. I've only caught 2 silver and 1 chum. Hopefully we get to go there once silver starts showing up

June 6-22 around that date is when you wanna be in Seward. When they upped it from 6 to 12 a lot of fish were disappearing lol.

Yepp. We definitely were about a week late from the peak of the run. We'll try our luck during silver runs

That’s a really good spot where u were at Russian good job 👍 u guys need backpacking set up. U put trash bag fish in it the hike back lol better than trying to hold from hand but just a suggestion. There about $125 for a good one at Sportsmans. Holds fishing rod on side lots of pockets and lower back support. Mmmm great catch and cook my friend. But where’s the rice 🍚 lol, lol, lol.

Wow!! that's a great idea, I have seen some folks do that and wonder how they carry their fish. It makes total sense and would make a great long distance aid.
It was way too late when we cooked the fish and we just ate it without lol

Whoever is your net person I wouldnt want him netting my fish. The person with the fish on is the one who will work the fish into the net after her wears the fish down. Seems like whenever you hooked a fish the net person was chassing the fish around stapping at it like you were trying to set a world record on the fastest hook and land sockeye. Its called sport fishing enjoy the fight of the fish.

Nice video except for the music! Annoying loud rock music does not go with a fishing adventure. Do you realize how loud it is when you have earphones on?
