Your photos are always amazing. The figures in the photoshoot are like real humans and can make many lively and fantastic poses. The flying poses of Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) are incredible.
Wow! You have attempted four times to fix Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) until you feel fine. This can really encourage me to fix my figures as I am always worried that I can't get the expected results and ruin them. Now I am confident that I can make it though I may need to attempt several times.
I like the final version of the figure that looks awesome, although the original figure also looks pretty good. I show my respect to your effort in making attempts to improve your paint job. Keep it up!
The studio didn’t make any new suit for Andrew they kept it from the Tasm movies so really it should look the exact same it’s just the lighting that makes everything look different. If you want a good breakdown on this suit you should watch amazing psm/ probably spider-man’s video about it
Wow this is amazing, I really like the vibrant colors on his suit in the amazing spider-man 2. But this looks exactly like how you wanted him to look like.
There’s just one little thing, the soles on the bottom’s of his feet still need to be black with those tread details, that’s something Hasbro needed to do In the first place, they need to put soles with detailed treads
From far, it seems that the web lines are not very visible. However, they are very clear in the close-up. The fixed look of Spider-Man is more authentic and awesome.
If I'm not mistaken, they literally just got an old tasm 2 suit from the original production and called it a day. Technically, it's all the "same" suit
Actually the suit is the same in TASM 2 and NWH but depends of the light if the suit looks mate or shinny. Well... it looks good but without the gloss varnish and the metalic red would look better
One of the things i think is just barely present in the TASM suits is theres just a slightest bit of pink in the red. I think thats part of what you were runnjng into with the salmon red
It does, but if you sand and prep your figures properly, it’ll be least likely to do so. Also, especially with varnishes, the seal a lot better than just leaving them there. Plus, those paints you mentioned can Still peel. Maybe we’re not all comfortable with certain paints and the “cheap grandma crafting paint” is all we can afford. 🙃🤷🏻
@@django60617 varnish and spray/rattle cans tighten the paint itself. I personally don’t mind the cheap stuff, because it stays after sanding the figures. That’s another reason to wash the figures with warm soapy water before anything. It gets rid of shiny finished and factory oils off the figures.
It could be said that the figure had that dark red color since in NWH the whole movie has very dark lighting and many shadows, things that they wanted to adapt to the TASM figure.
I see where you're coming from. Same here. I'm about to get the Peter 3 figure for Christmas, & I want to repaint the blue since it looks kind of purple out of the box. But I'm scared it could get messed up. I've learned a bit of knowledge on customizing these past 2 years, but what if it's not enough? Maybe I'm overthinking.
I recommend next time step up your game by changing your paints. There is some effect you will never achieve without the correct paint. Let me give you a hint, TASM2 suit is a red velvet like materials, almost metalic depends on the lighting. Your paint will never achieve this pallet due to the characteristics of your paints. A dark silver base + candy tone red + matt top coat is the ideal pallete for this suit. I don't know the situation on yours, but within my area lacquer motor cycle spray paints are cheaper than model paints/ acrylic paints (because it is a local product).
I love the colors but i think the paint work could've been better, the color doesn't match thru the entire body and lowkey makes it look kinda like a bootleg but overall i like it!!
Love what you did but even if I could copy and paste your work onto my own figures I still wouldn’t buy these. Them being noncohesive to one another goes further than their paint, it’s the sculpt, articulation and overall style. They look so odd next to each other, it’s like each one was designed by a completely different company.
This looks really good, I can’t wait to see how Tobey looks. I had a question about the gloss varnish you use, does it ever feel like there’s a slight tac to it? I’ve use a hobby varnish and didn’t like the way it felt over the paint
Like I said before, the way you customize the details on the Marvel Legends figures is amazing! You should really be part of Hasbro and supervise the designs of figures to make them more accurate to either the comics or films.
Hey Ken, if youv’d like to see how to make Web lines on Spidey figures there’s two vids that show how to do it. Link1: ruclips.net/video/ICnLhyiZ7ho/видео.html Link2: ruclips.net/video/ragHm-4QB8g/видео.html Note; link 2 is Spanish however turning on YT subtitles will translate to English and mentions using “needle trick” Pretty good watch especially for the web lines.
I think the metallic over the web lines and not just the spider symbol was a mistake. It made it look like a mix of the Tobey Mcguire suit and Andrew's. The blue turned out perfect and the final red color looks great but maybe hindered by how many layers it took to get there. Definitely a tough project to take on this time! Well done persevering. Can't wait to see all three together
Fun fact, the suit they used in NWH is the same suit from the tasm 2 movies stated by Andrew himself
It is but it was definitely edited in post

Hopefully if Hasbro re-releases this figure separately, we get more accurate suit colors, detailed soles & a unmasked head.
Honestly I liked the dark web lines, but also like the lighter webs, the reflective paint looks great and you still kept so much detail
From far, it seems that the web lines are not very visible. However, they are very clear in the close-up. The fixed look of Spider-Man is more authentic and awesome.
I cant wait for what will definitely be an incredible tobey figure glow up
If I'm not mistaken, they literally just got an old tasm 2 suit from the original production and called it a day. Technically, it's all the "same" suit
The lens kinda look different tho?
I like TASM2 more than the darker version from NWH
ye
Both the same suit
great work as always ! you pressed through and kept working and it payed off!
Actually the suit is the same in TASM 2 and NWH but depends of the light if the suit looks mate or shinny. Well... it looks good but without the gloss varnish and the metalic red would look better

Are you going to do a video on giving them calf swivel?
Idk if this is a dumb idea but a customized marvel legends iron spider would be neat
How do you paint over the webs without making them disappear?
NO CAMBIA NADA
Lo empeoro xd
This is his first video when he ken’t make it
Hii good vid as always but i think the web lines are not seen in the figure
Why do you use cheap grandma crafting paint why not testors, citadel, tamiya? doesn't that decoart just peel off?
The varnish he adds is what makes the paint stay
It does, but if you sand and prep your figures properly, it’ll be least likely to do so. Also, especially with varnishes, the seal a lot better than just leaving them there. @@JosueAguilar_01 Ken I Make it's work is too good for grandma paints.:)
@@the_real_lego_commander_cody Ah! I didnt think the varnish would increase the bond to the plastic, now I know.

I think this is the 1st time where the original factory looked better , only my opinion
ur not wrong
Yooo those muted spider webs on his face makes him look almost like mcfarlane spider-man ripped from the pages! Nice touch!
Your work is just always amazing(pun not intended😅)❤💙
Why is this guy not more popular
It could be said that the figure had that dark red color since in NWH the whole movie has very dark lighting and many shadows, things that they wanted to adapt to the TASM figure.
Can u make sentinel Peter b Parker bootleg with this series
Looks great
This is great and all but I’m afraid to make any changes to these figures. Paid too much to mess them up 😅

looks amazing pun intended, you should’ve added a gloss varnish to the eyes tho, still looks great!!
Yes you did
I think the more salmon red looks closer to og Tobey in my opinion.
For the Tobey figure if u put his head in hot water and pressed his head together, his head will look less wide
NICE !!
His Prada's at the cleaner's.

At first I was worried, but the after results look AMAZING!! Great recovery 👏
So when will the friendly neighbor hood spider man get a new and accurate design?
In an interview Andrew sed it was the same suit in the 2 movies
I love the colors but i think the paint work could've been better, the color doesn't match thru the entire body and lowkey makes it look kinda like a bootleg but overall i like it!!
the oroginal paint and colors was more cooler i dont like what u diid with the red color
The suit he uses in nwh literally the same suit he wears in Tasm 2
let's go!!! i've been waiting for this one! This and the integrated suit turned out amazing!!
On camera the mask looks weird cause we can’t see web lines but it looks great
Only people who dont own the figure do not get just how really muddy it looks next to the others
I’m gonna be honest, I like the original paint job he came with better.
tbh the suit just kinda looks wet.
Looks awesome
I think the original looks better this time
Sorry, but it looked waaaay better before the painting
dont get me wrong you did an amazing job and i like it, but he looks like he just went for a swin in the hudson.
Coincidence? I THINK NOT!!!!
I don’t think I’m going to repaint mine but I am definitely going to modify the articulation
Do tobey spiderman
He's the next one up. Looking forward to seeing what he does.

Idk, this one is the first time I felt the before looks better, maybe a lighter blue and shading in the red, but regardless it's cool
Seeing you post videos Makes My Day and you should actually work for Hasbro because they need some help
The final result was very shiny, I thought it looked better before you added the final coat of varnish
Andrew figure was the only one I think you could've left as it was but I'm exited to see the Tobey one. That needs some serious upgrades
Awesome repaint. Can't wait to see Tobey Maguire repaint next week😍
Wow! This is awesome!!! Great job! This looks A M A Z I N G
Been waiting and now that’s it’s out I can’t wait to watcj

I prefer the amazing spider man 2 Andrew Garfield movie suit
I cannot wait to see your fix up on the Raimi suit. The overly bright colors Hasbro chose are DISGUSTING.
