My beautiful Parents, and I listened to Country Music, I fell in Love with Country, and then God Blessed All of us with Charlie Daniels, an incredible Man, who is all respected, all perfect, Soooooo Sweet!!!!!!!!! A legacy to ALL those who love Mr. Daniels--- and our country.
Let's cut the BS and be the ONE nation, for which thousands lost their lives, a mere 200 years ago, to preserve our unity (north/south), dying and injuring themselves, and fighting fiercely for our nation.
Not to mention the hundreds of thousands of our sons/daughters who perished/were gravely injured in multiple wars years later, whose families were profoundly altered by their children's' patriotism/duty.
Whose dads, sons, uncles, grandparents, etc., died in wars and did not grow up with them, so you could covet an individual--- who never fought in a war--- and never gave to the public in service --ever.
How did that work out for y'all? Shame on us. Let's not say his name, and move on from the devil.

RIP Charlie; Was working volunteer medical at a concert when “Still in Saigon” first came out. Promoter somehow got helicopters from the local base to do a flyover to make it look good. We had people dropping like flies from heat and a few overdoses, got the base commander to okay the pararescue (pj’s) personnel to do dust offs and help us transport. 3 in a helo each plus the 2 on the ground total including turnaround we transported 30 or so came and visited every patient we took, thanked everyone involved and guaranteed us the promoters would have a medical tent and staff at any concert he did from then on. That’s class checking on fans & found later made a donation to veterans and helped pay a medical bill for an EMT volunteer that got a back injury and hepatitis from that concert all on DL. Never got the chance to thank him personally in life unless he actually read the letter I sent. Thanks for that and the music.
