I started getting into ASTRO a few months ago. Binnie became my bias and I would always melt seeing his warm smile and his beautiful voice would always calm me down on rough days. When I heard the news of his passing this morning, I cried for a few hours, not wanting to believe it. It hurts that I'll never be able to watch him perform on stage and that I will never get a chance to meet him.... I never thought that I would lose one of my biases this way again after Jonghyun.... Y’all kpop fans are right! fans and other people like us need to speak up about this to the companies and kpop industries treating them like shit. This is slightly off topic since this isn't what happened with Moonbin but I still think it needs to be said because I'm tired of finding out about artists suffering only when it's too late for us to do anything about it. I know this will never happen because the management companies would never allow such negative news to be made public about one of our beloved stars (I refuse to say 'idol' anymore because the idolization is a huge part of the damn problem since they're expected to be so perfect all the time), but I really wish that one of these articles could instead be about an artist who was SAVED after an attempted suicide. Some people would say I'm crazy but anyone who's ever been a die-hard fan of someone would understand why WE WANT TO KNOW! We want the chance to bare our hearts to them and help them feel our love and support so they never feel so lost and in pain again. It's common to see fans who comment about their STAN's saying they owe their own life to that particular artist. Well, we just don't know for sure why he died yet, do we? I know people suspect he took his own life, but it could have been something else. If it was self inflicted, who knows what was going on. People sometimes have major issues in their lives that they keep hidden even from close family and friends. He was much too young to die, no matter the reason. I'm very, very saddened to learn this. We may never know exactly why he died, either. Things like this are kept quiet as much as possible.

Mental health is no joke. It's hard to see the signs. A lot of that going around and it's really sad. Most of the time, they feel no way out but suicide. I think families have the hardest times. They tend to blame themselves. My heart goes out to them. He's not the first and definitely not gonna be the last. The stress of life.

Such sad news! Moonbin was such a talent! The Kpop industry needs to make two very big changes to it. 1. It must stop the intensity they place the artist under to perform to such high standards and how constantly they must perform - to the point of physical and no doubt mental exhaustion. 2. They must allow them to have relationships, as it is a normal part of life and would no doubt relieve their stresses knowing that normalising them being in relationships would lessen the stress of being found out. Well, we just don't know for sure why he died yet, do we? I know people suspect he took his own life, but it could have been something else. If it was self inflicted, who knows what was going on. People sometimes have major issues in their lives that they keep hidden even from close family and friends. He was much too young to die, no matter the reason. I'm very, very saddened to learn this. We may never know exactly why he died, either. Things like this are kept quiet as much as possible.

Mental health is no joke. It's hard to see the signs. A lot of that going around and it's really sad. Most of the time, they feel no way out but suicide. I think families have the hardest times. They tend to blame themselves. My heart goes out to them. He's not the first and definitely not gonna be the last. The stress of life.

Such sad news! Moonbin was such a talent! The Kpop industry needs to make two very big changes to it. 1. It must stop the intensity they place the artist under to perform to such high standards and how constantly they must perform - to the point of physical and no doubt mental exhaustion. 2. They must allow them to have relationships, as it is a normal part of life and would no doubt relieve their stresses knowing that normalising them being in relationships would lessen the stress of being found out.
