      This place blow my mind. Gary was such a awesome host, we spent hours just walking though his whole yard learning about all the various AMC cars.

      @@garrymurphy8038 back when you could buy them all day long from original owners for $50-$100 and they were the most dependable cars anywhere,but the best thing of course was that handle on the driver's side that would make the seat into a double bed...oh,do I miss those days!

    A Hudson Terraplane was my dads first car and his brother had a Rambler Classic at one time.

    What an episode absolutely loved this 1 so many gorgeous old cars and Wow I had no idea of these being built in Oz and omg those ford's in the shipping container WOW.
    I'm not a Ford fan in the slightest but fk me I wouldn't mind gettin my hands on one like in the container.
    I've heard of AMC but never heard of AMI

      AMI eventually became Toyota australia. AMI also made Mercedes pontons, 220 finnies and Citroen DS’s in Oz.

      @@dallasstepto8409 all of the AMI cars were made from knock down kits. The Mercs and Citroen’s were upholstered locally

    1930's Ford V8 cars and trucks, were requisitioned by the Australian government during WW2. Many of the trucks had their roofs converted to canvas, to relieve some heat, on the ammunition runs, through the desert to Darwin. Some more research on this one is a must.

    Be nice to see the AMX,s restored with factory parts and remove the mismatch crud that’s on it and definitely the sun roof has to go !!! Good luck with that and focus on them. The four doors have no value compared to them so sell them off and get going time is ticking. I really hope you the best of luck and glad we have a love of common ground!!

    not bad, 1st gen cherokee is pretty cool and the pacer, I recon it would be cool to put an EFi XJ Cherokee motor in a Pacer

      @@AutomotiveKarnage yeah, they might be a bolt in swap because the Jeep 4.0L is just an updated AMC 6 but i've never looked in to it

      That would be a very easy swap. The Jeep engine was intact based off the later AMC 258 engine and bolt up pattern is the same. I would definitely give it a go if a customer wanted one..

      We have found 1 Zephyr, its in the video where we bring the HR wagon home. I also have a lead on a savable MK2 that I still have to chase up.

    We used to paddock bash a rambler hornet... Would hate to think what it would be worth now as it was in great condition when we got it.

      @@AutomotiveKarnage Back in 80s we got a Mazda Capella swamp basher... Outside was rusted to hell from living on waterfront all its life... Interior still had the clear protective plastic on it from new.... So what do a bunch of 15yr olds do to it? :'(

    I think a lot of AMC cars are underrated like the Marlin. Many call the Marlin ugly. I've even seen it on the top 10 ugliest cars ever but i don't think so. Then again I'm sure many people who call it ugly drive Toyota Prius.
