Thank you for that spraying the gouache with boiled(?) water tip since my himi gouache paints are starting to dryyyy, thank you very much!!!💛 Very impressive painting as always💛
Let it cool before you use it tho! Demineralised water would be best (it's the water people put in irons for clothes), but boiled water is good too! Better than plain water!
Edit🙈 : actually boiled water might be even better because contains even less minerals and those kind of things!
@@weronoyume Thank youuuu!💛
@@weronoyume - We call it distilled water here in the US and it would actually be better than boiled tap water because if you boil it too long, all you're doing is concentrating the bad chemicals in it, such as arsenic. Now I'm sure you're not going to eat your paint, but there's no telling what kind of reaction down the line that might have on your paintings. I let my HEMI set dry out all the way after I had mixed in several drops of glycerin to each cup. I pulled it out a couple of days ago and added water to each cup with a pipette. It seems to be reconstituting just fine.
your painting skills are amazing! Loved watching the process 😍
she's so pretty aaa 😣💓
WOW !!!!!! What an amazing ARTIST you are !!!!!
Wow your art skills never cease to impress me! I'm glad you're doing okay in those troubled times ahah! Your video was very inspiring, thank you Wero! 💖
Thank you for watching! ❤️❤️
Your art is so pretty
Beautiful, your blending with gouache is exceptional... it’s a harder medium to learn but once you get the hang of it, it’s a wonderful medium to paint with.
Yes, It is! I like it a lot because it's pretty versatile! 😍
I'm new in this channel but I love the way how you do your artworks.I get more information about gouache tips.💗
I love this painting! Your video was relaxing :)
She is beautiful!!
Thank you! ☺️
THANK YOU!!! You are the ONLY artist I have seen on youtube to explain WHY the dark to light rule applies. Every other artist just says "do dark to light. it's easier", but they don't explain WHY it's easier. Maybe they don't know either. And I have watched hundreds of art videos on youtube in my quest to improve my artistic skills. So again thank you. :D
It's so beautiful
I am so in love with your art and style ❤❤❤
Thank you! 💕❤️
This is so amazing! The blending skills 🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️
So pretty😍🥰
Thank you 💖🥰
I've been trying to work out as well, but my body keep on shaking 🤣and I get exhausted pretty easily😭these days are such good oppurtunity to be more creative, and this vid inspired me to create a portrait🥺tysm💕
it's so good and the video is so calming
Thank you! ☺️❤️❤️
I love you! Your videos are so relaxing and inspiring and they always make me feel better
Really? That make me feel so happy! 😭❤️❤️
Your garden was a breath of fresh air especially since I've only been out to get groceries. Thank you for the video your drawing was beautiful!
I loveeeeee this painting so much. I feel like you blend gouache so well. It looks very seamless and smooth. I am jealous. Really good colour choices and great video!
Thank you! 😂♥️
I love this aet work timelapse that ive watched this way to many times. Youre extremely inspiring.
Loved watching this! I have to say I'm amazed it only took around 6 hrs to do this. I have a miniature sketchbook like that and if I really get into a drawing, 6 hrs seems like nothing! Ha ha!!! Can't wait to see your next video and I hope you're staying safe a sane!
This is so incredibly beautiful!
Thank you! 🥰🥰❤️
Your work is so beautiful💕💕💕 mah heart ❤️❤️❤️ it captures my aesthetics💕✨ never stop doing what you love🥺💕
Oh thank you!! I am happy you like it! 💕💕💕
this is such a beautiful illustration🥺
Your whole video reminds me of a certain cartoon I watched when i was younger especially towards the end when it has that sound, the thoughts of it makes me want to go back and just be a kid again. Haha
I was amazed on how you mix those colours of the skin tones! They are amazing! I wish i could do something like that! 💗🤗
Thank you for this video during lockdown, in Singapore is called “Circuit Breaker”.
Hope you have a great day staying home😊
Thanks for the tip about the boiled water using it with Gouache!
Distilled water is even better.
Im really glad that youre fine and doing art! Stay safe, you and your family as well!
Mixing skin tones is hard, but you nailed it! Beautiful!
You make it look so easy. I always struggle with gouache. But I'm still gonna try. Nothing else to do.
You can do it! ☺️♥️
She is very sweet! I wish I saw this video before I painted my first "pretty girl" it worked out ok, I struggled too much! I love your channel.
Can you make a tutorial how you sketch portrait from reference picture
Everything in this video is sooo pretty ✨
i love your art so much! would you be interested in doing some paintings from your garden or plants around your house? stay safe 💕
Oh yes! I definitely want to do that! 🥰
Wauw that's sooo beautiful ❤️❤️
Siempre e explota la cola viendo lo que haces, i love you, u are such an inspiration for me
wow it’s so good that it looked like digi art
Something to do during quarrantine is designing patterns. If you come up with some good ones maybe you can license them to a textile company. I'm always trying to come up with ideas for passive income 😄
Wow that sounds great! 😆 I could give it a go!
h-hi... could you please do a tutorial on how do you paint hair👉🏻👈🏻? when I paint hair it always look really plain :( and the hair that you paint is so realistic and lovely 😔
I just do a bunch of random strokes with different tones of color to get a little of depth! It’s really boring to draw/paint hair for me 😂 I do the minimal really... thank you for liking the way I make them! I’ll think about making a tutorial! 🥰
You might want to check out Jane Davenport's "Beautiful Faces". It has tips on how to do simple but realistic hair. I like her stylized faces and "fashion bodies", she makes it Super easy to understand, and it's available on Kindle.
wonderful job! great blending of the paints, makes me want to try gouache again :)
Oh, I didn't even try to make the dalgona coffee, I just know that I won't like it, even though I like frappuccinos. I bought myself a Moka pot by bialetti
Hello Wero. How are you doing? I hope that everything is going well with your life right now. I just noticed that you've been silent on social media for months now. I just got a little worried for you since the pandemic was a bit harsh in Italy. I hope you are safe and sound. I miss you and your art. Sending love from the Philippines.
Did you mix some water for the skintone?by the way that was awesome painting💗
Bellissimo ritratto, la pelle sembra vera! In alcune fumetterie si trovano diversi snack giapponesi comunque :)
Nelle fumetterie?
Pls make a video about mixing the colors im so confuse
😀 Just get you some cheap cellulose watercolor paper and start playing! You start with one color, paint an inch square of that at the top left corner of the paper, then pick one color you're going to mix with it, and paint it on the top right side corner (you might leave a border around them so you can label them). Then see how many "different" colors you get by mixing the second color into the first color in tiny increasing amounts, and make a tiny swatch for each, until you reach a 50/50 mix (you might want to mark this point in some way), then your second color becomes the dominant color and you're mixing smaller and smaller amounts of the first color in with it, until you're left with pure second color. It may take a whole sheet of 8" X 10" paper to see all the colors you can achieve with just two colors. You may also want to do your mixing on a white porcelain plate to make it easier to see. The great news is that this set is cheap so no feeling guilty about "wasting" paint or paper. Once you get through mixing just two colors, you might want to see if there are any three you can mix that don't automatically turn to mud! Fun fun! Somewhat tedious, but Fun! There is actually a whole college class on doing just this. 😮😄😄😄
What are colors do you combine to create skintones? Thanks :)
Looks a little like Lisa from Black Pink.
This is amazing! i definitely want to try gouache as i love watercolour and hate acrylic because of how thick it is so this seems like the perfect combination! also do you have any recommendations for reference? where do you find yours? for like portraits etc! especially in your 100 head challenge the ethnicity ones turned out so well!
The nice thing about gouache is you can use it on less expensive hot press cellulose paper (or, sometimes, the back of cold press if it's smoother). Be sure to follow the "fat over lean" rule of thumb. Best of luck to you!
At this point Skillshare sponsorships are so oversaturated that I tune out listening at "This video is sponsored by..." and snap back in with interest when it's something else 😂

Remember gouache can be reactivated, even if you leave the himi palette for years, once you rewet it will be fine to use again. You dont have to constantly wet. I actually saw another youtuber who left it unused for 6 months, hers became more opaque and she got more consistent results.
I know it can be reactivated, but I personally don’t like how gouache is when left to dry and then rewet! It’s hard to rewet gouache, it’s hard on my brushes I never get the same good consistency I feel like it’s always too watery and actually not as opaque! I like how it performs when it’s fresh way more! Btw I do rewet whatever dries on the palette while I paint, but I don’t really like doing it! For bigger paintings I use a wet palette! It’s just my preference! Of course you can use it how you like it , everyone paints differently! Thank you for leaving this comment it’s always interesting to hear people’s point of views! ☺️
You can use a toothpick to mix the paint around to keep from messing up your brushes, and then just use a brush to pull the paint off the toothpick. Plus if you add some glycerin, it will make it easier to reconstitute. ☺ It's a "pOtato / pAtato" situation. (You say potato, I say patato... It's a really old song and I'm showing my age. LOL!) One way works for one person; something else works for somebody different. I think as long as we all know about the options we have, it makes it easier to decide what we want to do individually. 👍
you dont need to worry about the paint drying up, even if its dried you can just stir it with some water and they'll be fresh again
some ppl dont like that though because its harder to control the consistency
@@cozymoggele yeah I mean just in case they get dried out you dont have to toss em :)
straw beary not really I put a lot of water on mine let it sit a day and it’s just as wet and creamy, it’s harder to use when it dries if you just spray and try to use it right away but if you let a good amount of water sit for at least an hour you’re good to go
@@cozymoggele - Also if you add some glycerin, several drops of it in each cup, it will help with the rewetting and consistency. Bonus tip: Use a toothpick to mix the paint around to keep from messing up your brushes and then use your brushes to pull the paint off the toothpick. Easy peasy! 😉😄
Are you okay?? You haven’t posted in 4 months now! I hope you are okay! Hugs and love Girl!!
Ive been pronouncing gouche wrong I keep pronouncing it as goo - chay but aside from that I enjoyed this video and really liked the portrait :)
Sorry for my stupid question but are you Italian?
Dang she got free food
Hello Vero, I hope you and you're doing alright since you haven't posted in awhile.😊
what colors do you mix in the himi miya gouache because i can never find a perfect mixture
Try mixing on a white porcelain plate. It'll help you to see the colors better.
What are the dimensions of the Japanese box, please?
It’s such a specific question! 😂 by the way it’s around 20,5 x 20,5 cm and 10,5 cm is the height! If you wanted inches measurements I am sorry 🙈
Thank you, so much! I haven't even watched your video, yet, because my eyes popped with hope. I have been looking for specific boxes to ship/store my 8 x 8 canvases. I have a couple of Christian Dior boxes but they won't send me any. I'm so excited! Now, I can calm down and, actually, look at what is in the box and enjoy your beautiful artwork and your cute voice.
🤗🤗🤗🌸💛
I LOVE ITT ♡♡♡♡ I MISS UR VIDEOS♡
p.s. can you please review the sketchbook??
Yeaaa i didn't like the taste of dalgona lol
