I didn't ruin my hair with bleaching, but as I have wavy hair and discovered how to look after my frizz years ago, I have a satin scarf (cheaper for me) that I put on top of my pillow and I "pineapple" my hair with a satin scrunchy when I go to sleep. That hydrating mask by Maui is one of my favourites. Your hair looks very healthy now. Yes, it will test your patience, but let me tell you that you will be in the fourth-five month in the blink of an eye. It happened to me and your hair will feel even healthier.
Hello Irene. I am enjoying this journey with you. Have been learning so much lately. I'm a bottle-blonde and last color job was on Dec. 14. Now I'm focused on making my shoulder length hair healthy. Yours is stunning.

Thank you. Looked at a ton of videos. Loved u the best! Going to follow u all the time. I have dark long hair like you and also am growing my white out.
@@ireneclaire hi. Thanks so much for asking because about a inch grew out from front part and sideburns which is bothering me. You can see where it’s starting to grow out and then the dark brown long pieces. Almost caved in but you wrote me back and it stopped me lol. I love what your hair looks like so it keeps me going. Thanks also for all the tips on styling. What can I do with the sideburns that look frizzy and unruly?
Hi Ms. Irene, I like your channel & I'm a new subscriber. I'm going grey also and trying to make sure I follow my hair care journey. Remember to use a light protein treatment. I use Aphogee 2-minute reconstructor. Take Care! MJ
@@ireneclaire You made a great color choice. I’m a natural brunette. I had been coloring my hair a brown black for years because I thought it would be softer since I was getting older. When I decided to go gray it was a disaster. I started going through what I refer to as the discoloration period, where ones hair becomes a lighter version of itself. So my hair become a brassy auburn which I absolutely hated because my roots where salt and pepper. You can’t have cool tones and warm tones an expected them to blend unless you get it done on purpose in a salon. So I thought to do some diy highlights around the front so it would blend, that was a fail! It shriveled up my, so I spent two months repairing my hair L'Oreal Paris EverPure Bonding Shampoo & Conditioner and argan oil daily. So finally I decided to dye my hair just a Black color avoiding my gray root growth which was about 4-5 inches. So far I love the result. My hair is not as white as yours, it’s more salt and pepper. (In other words my natural hair is a soft black with silvers)it did the trick for me. What’s happening is that the gray hairs underneath instead of turning orange are becoming gray and white So now when my hair goes to the discoloration period it’s becoming a beautiful gray with silver highlights . It’s blends better with the grow out, it’s like an ash black after a few washes. I wanted to show you send you a picture but for some reason you email didn’t work for me. Thanks for sharing hair your videos.
