In every town or a city w.r.t biomass availability production unit needs to be set up. The power required for these units can be from combination of renewable + energy storage + grid. Brazil not just have a by itself competitive substitute for gasoline, but also rely on cultivated eucalyptus firewood to replace industrial use of gas and coal, with more than one hundred million hectares available for expansion. There are also many other countries through tropical Americas, Africa and Asia with similar potentials. Nevertheless, the choice still being Russia and Middle East fossil fuels.

Government Policy Needs to support this. Instead we are pouring money into EVs which are stripping earth of lithium.

No, this technology is pretty much done developing, but it is not needed, because oil is very cheap right now. It would be a waste of money.

What's easier: adapting your current car to 30% cheaper carbon negative cellulosic ethanol [E85] or replacing it with a new EV ? Exactly.
Easier and much cheaper is using the EV. Price of this ethanol is around 20 times higher compared to driving an EV (and 2 times higher than gas).
