Im from Haiti & it feels great seeing African countries progressing. I just wish our leaders in Haiti would look at Nigeria, Ghana, Rwanda & do what they're doing to get the country on the right track. Congrats Ghana. Keep moving forward
I am an Indian, but I really love Ghana and the people of Ghana, trust me, I have travelled many countries but they way Ghanaians behave, thats superb.. You will get that feel at the airport only, people are so lovely.. Best Akwaba..I know all the places you are showing in this video.. Try Grilled Tilapia with Jollof rice at the Aeroplane restaurant.. Its awesome..
People this woman went to Accra and as showed how Accra is changinh. If you feel that other parts of Ghana must be shown to, pick you camera film it and put it online. She is not obliged to do so. Come one! Next to that, we all no there are still hardships in Ghana. But one can't deny that at least we are (finally) moving to the right direction. That won't happen over night. But we must celebrate the changes we see and not only complain. Ghana is changing, you can't deny that fact. Thanks for the video and showing that we are progressing. Don't mind this negative people. They just complain and compare with the western world, but don't do anything to change our country and get us to were we belong. You showing change helps because people get proud and are willing to help the change be it Ghanaians in Ghana or Ghanaians abroad. This clips are needed especially for those abroad so again, thank you for waking people up.
We understand that. And no one has anything against what she's doing. It's a good work. But to say we should celebrate this minute changes over the course of over 60yrs of our so-called independence from the British, is ridiculous. It's like a child and a baby sitter. The baby sitter has been given more than enough food to feed the baby say 4 times a day. But the baby sitter deliberately starves the baby and only feeds him/her only a small portion of what's supposed to be say dessert of the dinner, and keeps everything else for himself/herself. Do you think the baby, knowing such wickedness of this baby sitter, would be so thankful and begin singing kumbaya, halleluyah? I don't think so. This is exactly what our leaders and wicked politicians are doing to us. They keep everything for themselves, and expect us to be grateful for throwing us a little bone from the meat they eat, like some dogs. These small developments should have been made in about 40 - 50 years ago. It's just a shame we're barely crawling on our belly as a nation, after 60+ years of so-called independence
@@kosookoo5321 I agree with you that it is ridiculous that we still are a baby. However, you should understand that that is huge due to our colonial history and the colonial powers also doing whatever they can to disrupt any progress. Won't go in detail, but it plays a huge part in our slow progress over the year... But nevertheless, that is not something the owner of this channel can do about! See finally sees some change and is showing it, she is trying to show that Africa is not all poverty but also development. That is what she is celebrating and I am too. None of us said that we claim to be there (if you understood my comment well you would understand that I too am sadned by the late growth of the continent). However we can do two things: 1: keep un "crying" saying that everything is bad and so stay in that negative mindset or, 2: acknowledge that finally there is change going one (something no one can deny if you understand economics), scream that it is going one so that those who don't know it are awakened and called to play their part for the development of our nation/country. I believe the second is the way to go, and therefore I applaud this video. But by doing so does not mean that I/we claim that we are there. No. It is being glad that finnaly steps are being made to get there. Thnx for your comment and have a nice day :)
@@misterghana I agree with your point of view and partly agree with @kosoo koo. My fundamental view is that Ghanaians are their own worst enemies. Yes, external influences affect our development and progress as a country however, our mindset needs to change for real progress to take place. When Ghanaians abroad see videos like these and express a desire to come home and invest guess who puts up resistance? The very people of Ghana! Corruption has become a way of life and it's expected in almost every business transaction. Those who maintain their integrity don't usually last long. When a change is proposed (which would improve the local community) guess who opposes it? The same members of the community because "this is how things have always been so why change it?". One can put that down to a lack of education but what about the lack of common sense and simple reasoning? Ghana is corrupt from the top down and the bottom up! It's permeated every corner and every household. If we really want change, then the Ghanaians IN Ghana need to change their mindset first.
My wife, oldest child, two cousins and I are coming to Ghana in May. We're Africans born in America. We can't wait to get there. I'm glad we're going now, because one of the fears I have is that Ghana will forgo a lot of traditions to westernize progress. I pray Ghanaians hold on to what's traditionally theirs.
