Wishing doctors could listen more. I have PTSD from a lot of bad things that happened during the long delay before I was diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos. My life seems to have been a waste because of all that and the lost time.
Thank you for sharing this :) ...I do realise that doctors will need their time to understand too - but they really do need to watch what they say, how they say it and how genuinely helpful they're being. I do get that it can hard to leave biases aside, but without doing so, growth cannot happen and in the meantime many suffer.
@@FootprintsNoBoundariesByShruti So true. And it's not just the patients that suffer. Their families, partners, friends, co-workers, and everyone else the patient has contact with are affected.
