I now have my second Golden Retriever. When either were taken to the park the first thing they would do is thoroughly stop and scan the park for children. Once they found some they would immediately bolt from me to play with the kids. It is really amazing to see.
I Had a golden retieverin 1999 when I wa 10 y.o ; He passed away in 2013 at 14 y.o . He was with me during all my childhood and teen. in a man's life, we experience a great deal between the ages of 10 and 24. Childhood, adolescence, the passage to adulthood, heartbreak etc... it's a concentration of several lives over 14 years. The day I took him to the vet, and said goodbye, on November 10, 2013, was one of the most painful days of my life. I think he was relieved to go because he was aching all over, but sad that we had to say goodbye. His last look will stay with me for the rest of my life...
I had one in 1999, I was 10 years old, he passed away in 2013. It accompanied me through my childhood, my adolescence, my early adult life. Taking him to the vet with my mother for the injection that would put him to sleep forever was one of the hardest moments of my life. Because from 10 to 24 years old, life doesn't pass as quickly as from 20 to 34 years old... *Pengi was my best friend. Today I have a female bauceron, she is adorable. Dogs truly are our best friends...
I know some people dont like puppy's but if they see this kids reaction having their first pups, Man this would make them love puppy for the rest of their lives..
Smh🙄. IT'S THE NAME THEY USE TO REGISTER THE MICROCHIP!!!! Has no one ever heard of them? It's simply a placeholder given by the shelter or breeder. When you change the owner's name and address you can change the name on the chip.
Maybe its me. If you are giving a puppy as a gift be it birthday , Christmas whatever....the person or family should think of a name...pre named pets are never a good idea
They aren't prenamed. Apparently very few people know about microchips. They microchip all pets before they leave the shelter or a breeder. They are pointless unless they are registered to that animal... That requires a name. It's not permanent unless you want it to be, it's just basically a placeholder.

I hate when people put animals in bags or boxes. Like they are just any other possession.
Oh good grief.
