🇻🇳 Flying to Ho Chi Minh City - District 1 & 7 (Ho Chi Minh City AKA Saigon, Vietnam)

- We fly out of Phnom Penh, Cambodia to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. We set up short term in Nikko Apartments and take a walk around District 7. Then we head to the Avanti Hotel in District 1 to take some tours and visit some sites in Ho Chi Minh City, like the statue of Ho Chi Minh and Reunification Palace.

We have been eating quite a bit of local street food. Banh mi bo for $1.50 and com bo for $2.00. We love it.
We found a lady serving com ga down a little alley for $1.50.

I thought Ho Chi Minh City was clean. The cleanest city we have been in Southeast Asia. I have been really impressed with Vietnam!

Enjoy Vietnam 🇻🇳 is a wonderful city my homeland but i live in Australia always sad to go abroad after all Australia is home! There’s a saying there’s no place like home 🏡! Enjoy try landmark 81 is pretty nice beside district 1&7 stay safe

The city was very beautiful. A little busy but we enjoyed our week there. I was surprised how clean it was compared to other cities we visited in Southeast Asia. District 7 was very nice and less busy for this westerner 😁

We have been using Grab. Even from the train stations we use Grab to keep the taxis honest 😉

The taxis from all the airports try to rip you off! The one from Ho Chi Minh City airport was interesting. I may do a video about it.

No toilet paper in the hotel
There was no toilet paper at a few public restrooms. Some you have to buy the tp when you go in. All the hotels had tp 👍😁
