I know this is a 2yr old post, but I want to thank you for taking the time to explain this. It has helped get me one step closer to a product I’m working on which may save lives in the future.
what an amazing explanation! but, in quantization, what is the difference between every two levels in terms of volts? I don't know if my question is valid but I have been watching other vedios and they talked about it.
Greetings, thanks for a great video, it helped me incredibly a LOT. I am a little bit confused with image digitalization. Does it work the same way as PCM? (we would not have only time on x axis but something different?)
Excellent video. One question. What if a sample value does not match a specific bit value but corresponds to an intermediate value? Where is that sample matched to the higher or lower bit value and is there any metric relationship to allocate the value to a bit?
I'm looking to connect my iPod classic to my digital audio preamp using an ADC. Will I be encountering any loss in audio quality by converting my iPod's line-out audio to digital using an ADC then connecting the ADC to my DAC preamp connected to my studio monitors? The ADC has a sampling rate of 32, 44.1, 48 and 96 KHz/48 KHz while the DAC has a decoding range of 16-24bit/ 32-192KHz.
He does a great job of explaining things in a way that really make sense. This video was the one that made me check out subscribe to the channel. There are a lot more great videos on this channel.
If one understands voltage levels, and how they represent amplitude levels in a sine wave, and step voltages and how they can be represented numerically in binary, then this video makes sense. If you don't have a background with analog and digital electronics (with binary math, of course) this video might be hard to understand. The video is well done, but I wouldn't necessarily call it a video for beginners.
I have a couple questions I hope you can answer. So when analog signals come over a coaxial network how do we change the binary sequence... by changing the amplitude of the frequency? I know there are typically four downstream and four upstream carriers does each carrier get a certain amount of wiggle room for variance of binary signal? And some more questions I just thought of after digital conversion can we combine different packets for one cause? How does a device differentiate between what information is meant for it versus another? I know the data is encrypted is it looking for a specific sequence in order to modulate the information?

Thank you. You are a good teacher. I watched a few videos prior to yours and understood NOTHING. You made it very simple to understand. God bless you.
I have worked in major Digital Signal Processing, your video is the great explaination in PCM.
Amazing video, I learned in 8 minutes what I could not get in weeks of useless classes. Thank you sir
Glad to hear that!
the most clear Explanation on the internet for this topic
Video was clear and concise. Thanks so much for the illustrations and straightforward explanation.
You're very welcome!
Very very helpful video. I appreciate you take the time and energy to upload this video. Your explanation is very easy to follow.
The most crystal clear explanation including visualization hats off to u man ! ❤
Such a clear explanation! You make it really easy to understand. Keep it up!
Many thanks.
Great job Sunny! Been a while since we worked that summer together. You have come a long way!
Yeah thanks
Excellent clear explanation especially significance of bit depth! Keep it up!
7:02 thats how my cat sounds like
haha. Your cat must be very cute.
One of the best explanation of ADC
Best ever class I heard lifetime....simply deeply cleared🔥❤️
Your videos are the best! I'm your fan Sunny, keep going making videos like this 😎🤙
Thank you very much, Gibran. I will try my best to upload more.
No words to explain ,thank you sir!
Very simple explanation. Great work explaining it visually!
I cannot thank you enough for your perfect videos
You are quite welcome!
Nicely explained, great animation and presentation. Please keep up the good work!
Sir, Thank you very much for explaining all the concept so beautifully .
a simplified easy to understand method of teaching a complex stuff. more power!!
Thank you for watching! Check out my other videos please!
very short and clear with easy explanations. thank you and keep it up!!!👍👍👍🤙
Approaches can be different to different people, but your approach is understood. Love from Pakistan ♥️
Thank you !
Great info and straight to the point thank you!
Awsome Sunny...!!!
🥇🌻🎖!
What a legend mr Sunny!
Great explanation, and very helpful
Thank you for watching!
Very nicely explained. Thank you.
Simple, slow, patient,. ... LOVELY
Thanks for the video, it's great!
Note that "conversation" on the title should be "conversion" ;)
Thanks a lot. I have corrected it and I appreciate it very much, Miguel.
Although, I enjoyed the Conversation about Conversion :)
Great and super explaination in a simple way
Thanks a lot
Awesome Video I understood everything!
very helpful, thank you Sunny 💛

Yes
1:44 the video says amplitudes with a regular interval, yet the image shows different intervals between the lines
Very straight forward. Great video.
Thanks a lot for your comment.
Mind-blowing explanation
Such a clear explanation sir, i really appreciate it 🙏 better explanation than my professor
Thank you Sir.It's very helpful & effective to us.
You are very welcome!
Your explanation is very clear sir. Please put video for QPSK, QAM
one of the best in youtube
You explained it perfectly!
7:36 "from right to left" Is it not left to right?
It should be from right to left because the data on the far right occurs earlier than the data on the left. It is like a queue. First in First Out.
@@sunnyclassroom24 ohhhhhhhh didn't think about 👍👍
very well explained thank you sir Sunny
you are welcome and thank you for your nice comment.
Thanks for a clear explanation.
You are welcome!
Very Informative. Thank you
Amazing! Your videos helped me a lot
Glad to hear that!
That's really helpful!
Excellent!
Many thanks!
So much informative!
Glad it was helpful!
very good video! super explicative!
Glad it helped!
Awesome video! Thanks.
very helpful indeed, sir!
all your vedios are helpful :) thanks
Thank you for this very nice explanation

you have to catch up these voltage diff w some device, that will know which lvl has specific value representation, in theory)))
Great teaching . Thank you sir :)

Wow this is informative video...thank u
"Great question! It depends", at 2:42 somehow sounded sarcastic to me lol.
Anyways, it was a nice video. Not kidding.
Excellent video!
Thank you very much, Edward.

very very helpful. Thanks a lot.
Are encoding is going to from (Right to Left or Vice versa ).. ??
This is very helpful thank youuuu
Thanks for This Video ,vry Helpfull

Superb sir wow!
Thanks a lot.
Thanks and thank you very much
Help alot !
Thanks you for watching!
I like it very easy to understand
thanks.
thank you really
How do I find what the data rate would be if the signal were being sampled every ms instead of every second?
I cannot see the difference between quantizing and encoding. Both associate binary values to samples
super helpful
Glad it helped
very helpful, thank you!
Thank you so much! Keep it up
You are welcome, and I will do.
Good Job !
Thanks!
3:30 a little more than 2 samples would be sufficient in this particular case.
thanks!
THANK YOU
You are welcome!
sir how you have used 8 bit depth value .. like that can we use any value?? ex 16 bit
Thank you sir can you make video for DCE and DTE devices
Very good explanation. Why Sir you was not making video when I was studying 😂😂😂
