Facebook Status: Broken Heart

The plaintiff met the defendant on Facebook, and they started dating. The plaintiff purchased a plane ticket for the defendant to see her with the agreement he’d pay her back. However, the defendant never showed up and failed to pay her back, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant insists he never dated the plaintiff and never asked for the plane ticket. Therefore, he believes he doesn’t owe anything.
