Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture. With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

Anna is sooooo close to her tractor-adventure. 🐕🚜🐕🚜🐕🚜😂😂😂👏👏👏
I say the Moline is totally appropriate to use for her first ride
4k
@@matthewslutz2647 no all the tractors many times
The 9870 will be the best one
@@andywilkerson4617 3k now 😮
on your ken worths (semi's) try changing the cables to the batterys if that doesnt work put a cut off switch were the battary cables leave the batery box. My truck I use for snow plowing had the same issue and we put a cut off switch in it because it was drawing amps some were. It works great now. (Plz like this a share it so Millennial Farmer will see this.)
The old Kenworth looks pretty good Zach. Well done
Now the next one
I can't wait to see Anna to get her first tractor ride.
Millennial Farmer --1 Million subscribers to 98%!!! WOW! 😀👍... Millennial Farmer thanks again for all your good 👍 and RUclips!
Best thing about having a RUclips channel it also acts as a vehicle maintenance log.
@millenialfarmer favorite quote of the video. “I don’t want to yank it too hard because I’m not around it in a great spot, I’ll get a different angle and give you a harder pull this time.”
FBN Todd skating was great! 🤣🤣
The 90’s called Todd they want their flip phone back 😂
🤣🤣🤣
C'mon people, hit that sub button, who does'nt wanna see Anna get her first tractor ride? I'm certainly looking forward to it!! Only 4k to go!!
3K now
I hate driving on ice in Minnesota. You made a wise decision to call it a day.
THUNDERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR...... =)
4k more! Big dog big tractor!
Soooooo close to a million
the bearing can be adjusted by checking the air pressure in the right rear tires on the tractor
And yet another amazing video.
Those situations it can help to spread out some sand - specific areas.
Pretty sure that was a cool million subscriber shot.
Sir, a good shot indeed!
Sitting between those 2 gorgeous red trucks was the COOLEST thing ever! That rope is a good thing to have around! Thank You Zach for this video! Until your next video ~~~Stay safe, healthy, warm, and happy! 🚜
Best thing we ever did was put crossfire indicators on. Fill both tires at the same time in the open instead of trying to fit the air chuck inside the holes.
It is unimaginable how many different types of jobs you need to be able to do as a farmer! Your videos are inspiring. You make it much easier to accept the current HIGH food prices after watching how much it costs YOU to get a crop to market. Thank you and all farmers for what you do!
My grandfather farmed his entire life. He used to say he was a jack of all trades but a master of none.
It’s crazy Zach you were at about 200k when I started watching and now look at the subs
Where has Jim been
The shot of both trucks coming in IS a cool shot.
Anna and Didge were good dogs; watching both directions from the road (7:08) while you were under the truck!🥰🐕🛑
The pretty red truck with the shiny rims is begging to have it's fuel tanks polished.
I can't wait for that video. She isn't going for a tractor ride without a fight. Should be fun.
The salt and brine is going to kill those shiny wheels
Anna: "I want to ride in all of them!"
Zach, paint those rear wheel hubs black with heat proof paint, will look nice.
Zach I have been telling you. Go get yourself some Cat Eye dual tire equalization valves, or a similar brand, and you can check tire pressure on both duals at a glance. And if you have to add air you air up both tires in 1 easy to reach valve. Plus you get even tire wear on both tires because they are both the same pressure. It's a no brainer.
what if one tire needs air and the other doesnt?
@@jimsmith9819 the tire equalization valve attaches to both tires, so both tires are of equal pressure. So if the valve shows low pressure or high pressure, you would add or subtract air to both tires at once. Now if one tire would suffer a total loss of air or if one tire suffers a puncture, the tire equalization valve would allow only so much pressure loss before it would isolate the tires. So in that case, one tire would be low and the other would be flat. What the valves do, is equalize the pressure in most circumstances. Because the inner tire is closest to the brake, it heats up more, and consequently has more pressure, and are prone to blowout more, and have a different circumference than the outter tire, which causes more tire wear.
Zach, make sure you have a bench seat. It's great when my buddy boy lays his head in my lap for a nap while I cruise. :)
Love the truck parking shot
I Have 4 trucks, every one has a tow hook sticking out the front. USE them all the time, saves time and damage.
It was A cool shot.👍
you're going to be vacuuming fur from a tractor for months. It'll be hilarious!
Hell yea that was a cool shot!
WHEN are we going to get another Off The Husk? I need, we all need, more Off The Husk!
Glad to see that start problem is dealt :D
Great catchy title Zach. Glad to see you moving on to ice road trucking. Will need you to come up north to test your skills. Thank Todd for the bonus footage 😂
When Zack, post you already know it's gonna be a bannger
you have nothing to complain about when it comes to checking tyres. Here in South Africa we have super interlink rigges that have a total of 34 tyres. 10 tyres on the horse (prime mover) and 12 tyres on each trailer.
Anna got her ride!
So I am a German shepherd owner also, I do not think she wants to ride in it. More like she wants to take a bite out of it. Definitely watch them claws when you try to pick her up.
🇺🇸 Boy, you must be on the backside of 40 if you're worried about to much activity first thing in the morning 🤣
PS. Thank you Todd from FBN for some exciting content 👏 👍😎🤣🤣🤣. And Zach sounds like an 'old school' truck broker if farming doesn't work out for him. "That load has GOT to be there in the morning!! You aren't scared of s little weather are you?" That quote I heard from a couple truck brokers who were trying to talk me into a 15 hour ride in the best conditions! God only knows how long it would take in the middle of a blizzard, if you didn't end up off the road or worse. If you were wondering I was 23 at the time and yes I took one 20 hours for that and two days for 2nd, couldn't see a thing almost 'bumped' into a truck in front of me that I didn't see til I was about 4 feet away!!! As luck would have it we were going about the same speed so nothing drastic but I stopped to check if I needed an undergarment change and had a pretty good sleep until morning. 😎🤣🚜🌽
Zach that was great slip slide good to take trucks off road safe then sorry that you and Becky and Dad always a great video can't wait for next video.
Wow first to comment. Slip sliding away Zach. Work doesn't stop so you do what you do what you have to do. Stay safe.
I've been waiting to see you load the pup up in the tractor, could be a great show
12:29 It did turn out to be a good shot.
It super nice today in boyd wisconsin
Little whoops least the ditch is shallow . stay safe
Those new lug covers are SNAZZY gonna have lasers popping off those rims
cant wait too see Anna ride the deer. come on and give Zach 1 mill subs guys
I figured out how to keep my productivity up. I pick five tasks that need to be done. Then I watch your video for 3 minutes. Go do task 1. Watch for another 3 minutes, task 2. So on so forth. That way I can watch your content and still get stuff done. Takes me 4 hours to get through your video, but my wife is pleased with her new room.
Zach, yes, it turned out to be a cool shot. Somehow you manage to keep things fresh, year after year..... it's probably Becky's editing skills. ;)
I’ll say the Moline is totally appropriate to use for her first ride
Id love to know you better Darren, thats only if you dont mind cos you seems to be a nice and very cool person
Hey Zach, maybe an idea to put mud flaps in front of the hopper opening. so that the bearings become less dirty. tell Jim about it, he'll tell you it's a good plan 😃 love your video's 👍
I just changed our Wilson trailer and got greasable bearings for the traps. Might last a couple years longer but Saskatchewan uses salt and sand like y’all
Anna says, "ALL tractors, and the combine, and the grain cart, ..."
That Minnesota weather looks like fun.
Ready to see this!
Start practicing Anna for your big event coming up!
Hi Millennial farmer l am fans of our Videos Congratulations For one million subscribers

His real passion is figure skating (at circa 7mins) …. 😂😂
All I will say is I bet Jim is glad he took off for the day he didn’t get it stuck haha keep up the great work
I’ll say the Moline is totally appropriate to use for her first ride
Id love to know you better Derek, thats only if you dont mind cos you seems to be a nice and outspoken person

I love your videos!!
Great video.
That was a sweet video thanks
I had the honor of seeing and meeting your dad at a carshow in Florence Az on Sat. I am from Langham Sask. Hometown is Estevan Sask were I got my begining in racing in the 60's. Watch Millennial Farmer and Between the Rows. - Ron
Nice video!
Gotta love driving on ice always fun
You need to use cats eyes on your trucks and trailer then you only have to check one spot per set of duels and you can visually see that it is either good on tire pressure or low
Your videos are the best I learn alot
Love the videos as always can’t wait till spring for sure
Thanks for your videos!! Let’s go million!!!!!
It did make a cool shot!
you have done a great video I will definitely watch more
Great video!! Shaping up to be a good start to spring
Enjoyed the video. Thought you were a good parent when you mentioned building your children a ramp for jumping. My son once said he told his friends at school that I was a great dad because up on building a ramp to jump over a fire, insisted the fire needed to be have higher flames for a better jumping experience.
I've been subbed since about 500k 1 million is long overdue.
Zach, you should award your 1 millionth sub with a butt load of merch.
Most of it autographed by you, your Dad and kids including numbered.
Just a suggestion.
Nice sitting her resting home from the hospital recovering from covid related pneumonia in my left lung and it's 83 drgrees no snow watching how dedicated and hard working you farmers are providing America with products you produce.
Farming is anything but easy.
It's not a 9 to 5 job that's for sure..
Having grown up in a small Michigan farm town myself that's something every teen boy who wanted some extra income planting and harvesting season learned the hard way on the old farm equipment.
Even with modern equipment it's not really less work (maintenance added) just lots more gets done faster.
Awesome video Zach can't wait for the next one
Agreed turned out to be a cool shot
Zac, have you ever considered changing your trucks to air starters.
Looks like Anna will be getting a ride before planting at this point.
Cool shot with both trucks coming at you!
Cmon guys let’s let Anna get a tractor ride and Zach has a new wall decoration
