that faceit blog post is HILARIOUS. it pretty much shits on everyone who bought a wooting/razer keyboard by just straight up allowing null binds
surprised that the binds are not allowed in leagues but the keyboards are... might as well let the binds be allowed if you are allowing the keyboards

They do not work anymore, and if you have snaptap etc. you will get kicked from valve official servers.
appreciate you making it available and clear for everyone, we shouldn't even have legal hardware cheats available in 2024, but it is what it is. I want to petition for the ban of it all together, if null bind cfgs aren't allowed, then the software/hardware used to SOCD shouldn't be allowed either. I shouldn't get to pay $250 to have a 120 ms better chance than someone.

@@GALVANIZED_SQUARE_STEEL_PIPE I agree with you, though, cs being difficult has always been the reason why people take it seriously and other games like Valorant aren't due to it's "easy" nature with there being extremely easy counter strafing, easy weapon recoil patterns and basically auto b-hopping. As frustrating as it is most of the time, it forces players to continue to practice and keep getting better at the game.

Wouldn't it be better to make it so that when you hold A and press D, the character stops without starting to walk right after a while?
you can instantly stop when you counter-strafe with snap tap / socd / null binds, removes human error
yes, that would be better
no because that like letting go of the strafe key. U maintain speed for a few seconds which will give u a second of inaccuracy. in which will significantly mess up your aim/spray. Counter strafing stops that from happening, u let go of the strafe key and press the opposite strafe key to counter strafe. which will give u instant accuracy. Snap tap/null binds will make that 10 easier. because it cancels human errors so meaning even if u mess up the timing of letting go of the other key, as soon as u tap the other strafe key, it will just automatically stop u.

You should delete this video now since Valve doesn't allow nullbinds anymore, my movement keys got reset after I launched CS with nullbinds in autoexec and had to remove them.
Furthermore Valve so far has "kicked" nullbind users, may ban in the future, so update video of this announcement should be made or you may get your viewers banned.

After using snap tap and socd (I have both keyboards) for a week I turned it off. I am playing worse with it. And so do many other players according to reports from reddit, youtube and discord.
same here with null bind (subticked, not desubticked as desubticked is too slippery for me), but its also something with my keyboard, it very often happens that i start sidewalking for no reason when e. g. going forward. With latest firmware and 0.1mm sensitivity and rapid trigger on (drunkdeer A75).
@@schabigerlump can you post scripts for each? how does it affect it? i've tried the null binds in the video, everything is snappier, but running and shooting while strafing one direction with smg's is a lot worse and i don't know why (shots are not hitting where they should be)
you literally have to change how you play, if you are trying to just use it as an instant boost in skill it won't work unless you feel out how fast you can shoot with them
tbh i don't see almost any difference using these, maybe I would if i would played like gold nova holding a and spaming ad. If you've played the game for some time and know the basics of counterstrafing i don't see any benefits from this at all
